Re: The LeBron James Saga
I don't like LeBron, I hope the Heat miss the playoffs. I wish they just signed Bosh an not Bron. I wish they would go 0-72. So trust me I was not one of those guys. I dislike LeBron almost as much as that one dude whos always bashing Kobe dislikes Kobe.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
On another note, Cleveland needs to somehow get over .500 by Thursday. It seems that's almost a guranteed loss for the Heat that way since they suck against winning teams. Miami may explode for real though if they lose to the Cavs Thursday. Evil LeBron is going to show his *** for real if they lose that game just watch. **** is going to hit the fan if Thursday don't go how he wants.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
I'm honestly a little surprised with how Wade's personality and dominance is just GONE this year. I knew that James was a better player but I thought Wade was a better leader than this. Wade is busy worrying that he's quite not the star he thought he was once Lebron came to town, Lebron is busy deferring to Wade and Bosh and looking for scapegoats already because he doesn't know how to lead, and Bosh is busy wearing skinny pants and going to fashion shows. Nobody's worried ENOUGH about winning, there is NO sense of urgency. The team's problem is that all three thought they would be able to come in and win right away and be best friends and have a party every night. Now that there's issues, and all three don't want to say anything and call each other out. IMO if Lebron wants to win a championship so bad and live up to the praise that so many people give him, he needs to actually lead. Stop having players only meetings. Lebron has ALL the power in this situation pretty much, USE IT!!! Tell the coach what you think should be happening. Work with him. I'd respect a headline that said "Lebron challenges Spolestra about philosophy in meeting" or something like that as long as he's being constructive and not just whining. If he wants to post up more or run more screens or whatever, challenge Spolestra. Don't just do nothing so someone else can get blamed. He'd rather clown around in practice like a 12 year old. Lebron is a baby, he's been coddled since he was 16 until now, and he still hasn't grown up. And it's showing right now. I hope this guy finally gets it.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
LOL OMG at Chris Broussard on Sportscenter just a few minutes ago. Pounding the drum that the three want to win a championship and want to win one this year despite all reports pointing to them just wanting to sit on they're *** and party. Then he goes on to mention how LeBron gave up a lot leaving Cleveland and how...I'm not even joking he said Chris Bosh gave up a lot leaving Toronto so they feel whatever it takes needs to be done to win this year even if it means making a coaching change. Nevermind trying to change playing styles so that this thing will actually work and you know...being serious as the coach asked. Allegedly.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
So Stockton, Malone, Barkely,Ewing, etc.. or not some of the best of the best ever?
If Nash doesn't when a ring he shouldn't be considered a best of the best?
There is only one champion per season. Teams when championships, not players. Its fair to use the championship barometer when talking about teams but not individual player placement in history. Just to further back up my point, if Dan Marino played for the 49ers, Steelers, or Cowboys and their QB's played for the Dolphins, he automatically becomes a better QB?Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
Checkmate here. Titles are everything in sports as far as being the best goes. There are lots of great players across all leagues, but when discussing the best of the best only the ones with the championships are the ones who truly matter. For example if Charles Barkley had a few titles to his name how would he stand now in league history? Same for Malone, how would his spot be different?Comment

Re: The LeBron James Saga
Honestly, yes. Now if Bill Russell hadn't won any titles, I think that would lower him on the NBA history totem pole by quite a bit, given that his claim to fame other than defense is being the greatest winner in any sport (I believe). But, Jordan, Magic, and Bird, three of the most transcendent athletes in the history of American sport, two being the saviors of basketball, and one being the reason the sport is so popular now, I don't think them having never won a championship would change much.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: The LeBron James Saga
Ultimately what I think kills Spolestra's clout with stars like LeBaby and Bosh is that he was never an NBA player, and for that matter an NBA player w/ any merit/pedigree.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Bosh and LeBitch thought it would be the easiest thing they have ever done and Spo is demanding effort and physical play.
I hope Spo gets fired and Riles comes in...then we'll really see a miserable LeBitch.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The LeBron James Saga
Which is essentially what I'm getting at.... If these more than reasonable demands were coming from an esteemed coach, or a coach who played the game at a high level...for all intents and purposes Avery Johnson or Mo Cheeks, then I'd think...or at least like to think that it would have some resonance... at least w/ the media.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment
