      It's his bulky knee

Looks like he's moving in quicksand against the smaller centers. You can see it in his face like he gives up. Throws his hands up always blaming someone or the refs.

It's OK though I like the big fella, he just has to mature and ripen a bit.

Pau has improved quite a bit in his post defense but any of the cream of the crop big men can still have their way with Pau [Boozer/Amare/Bosh etc. etc. etc.]

Andrew is obviously a load but he is foul prone and is easily frustrated by smaller opponents Carl Landry cough Paul Milsap cough Big Baby cough
Not to mention KG he absolutely Kills Pau. I Think Bosh is like a younger KG offensively.

What I dont understand is how can Lebron go from a team of scrubs that was the favorite to get to the finals to a team with two other stars and they are supposed to have trouble making it to the finals. Not to long ago people were saying if Amare went to the Cavs before the trade deadline they were a lock to win the title.

Pau averaged 18 and 11 last year in the finals while Garnett averaged 15 and 5. I know stats don't tell the whole story but come on dude, he definitely doesn't kill Pau. Garnett averaged 11.5 and 8.5 against LA last year for the season...

Bosh did average 20 and 10 against them though but nobody really knows what he'll do this year being the #3 option instead of #1. I'm really interested to see how the Heat play, but I want them to lose more than anything.

Because and at some point in the history of the world and professional sports I'm hoping dudes will realize, that just slapping a bunch of guys with skills together doesn't always mean you're going to win. The Yankees have been buying the best players in the world for the last decade plus and just won a World Series out of it. It's why one coach can come in with a roster full of talent and not make the playoffs every year he's there, get fired and the next guy can take that same team to the Conference Finals or farther.

These arent just a "bunch of dudes with skills". 1st they are all friends which helps smooth out alot of ego problems that can happen when you have a bunch of stars. 2nd they all just want to win period. And last and probably most importantly they have different skill sets that compliment each other and minus Bosh(who I'm sure the other two will correct) are tenacious defenders.

edit: And the last time "a bunch of dudes with skills" got together they won a title the same year. Most people thought would have been there the next year if not for injury and made it to the finals last year and could have easily been champs again. While they are in the twilight of there careers. This MIA trio are more talented and in their primes. This has multi-championships written all over it starting with this year. I think the best chance was them sleep walking and now with all the negativity they will be to focused to sleepwalk.

Yes because ego has never trumped friendship before. Weren't Shaq and Kobe friends at some point? Also love that the Celtics are now the rule and not the exception. Basically we'll see in June.

This. Not to mention Leon Powe is a better roleplayer than anyone else on that Heat team minus Mike Miller and he wasn't even the Celtics better role players. The Celtics actually had talent around their 3.

They just said on Sports Nation that LeBron was quoted saying "Practice is gonna be like this all year. My leadership qualities won't let it be anything but intense every practice." or something along those lines. Is that a joke?

And LeBron thinks the fact that he is black is part of why people don't like him anymore? What?

At this point, me personally I'm tired of talking about what the Heat "are" and what they "can" do and so on and so on. Just go out there and play the games and do what ya'll been planning to do since 08 and get it done. At least that's how can make me eat my words and shut me up about this.

And yea, that Celtics squad was the exception and not the norm and being friends ain't gonna smooth out no ego problems. If that was the case, T.O and McNabb would have at least one Super Bowl by now.

Really T.O. and McNabb references? I'm not sure they were really friends. Now if your talking about Ochocinco and T.O. then that may carry some weight.

Anyways being friends gives them a greater chance to get along then not being friends.

The Heats big 3 is probably most compareable to the C's big three then any other joining. So using their results seems like the best barometer because we are all just guessing.

                            Re: The LeBron James Saga

McNabb and T.O were known to be friends for quite sometime(was also friends with Ray Lewis until that mess went down)before they got together and then once **** hit the fan(aka Actual Games played in which it didn't go their way)it was then we got to see how they would handle adversity like that and they didn't handle it very well.

Chad and T.O doesn't carry any weight(at least not right now and probably never will)because it's only 3 games in and they're winning. Their real test will be what happens once the L's start piling up.

The Heats big 3 is probably most compareable to the C's big three then any other joining
That's because it's the only example of a Big 3 forming(going by the new definition of the phrase "Big 3").

Shaq and Kobe were never friends. Friendly maybe? Teammates yes.
You say they were never friends(as if you know)but yet say they were friendly. So are you saying that they were moreso associates than friends or that they were friends?

What is with you and your ridiculous barometers man? First the Hornets this year being a 2-6 seed based on three years ago, now this. Yes the Celtics are the only time that we've seen three stars put together this way and this is the second but we don't have just ONE example in the history of sports where friends grew to hate each other because of egos, it's happened repeatedly. Yes, they're all lovey dovey and having sleep overs now but what happens if they aren't piling up wins and running through the league like they were hopping around on stage like they'd done? I'm not saying they're going to implode, but enough of this crap about a team doing something cause they took a bunch of guys that are good and put them together. They're games don't even really compliment each other to be honest. Wade and Bron are the same player. They're two guys with inconsistent jumpshots who are exceptionally great slashers. LeBron has the luxury of being a pretty good passer but guys still have to knock down shots. He had guys in Cleveland who individually could knock down shots when he got them good looks and they couldn't even do that on nightly basis. What's the excuse if he doesn't win now? If the Heat don't score 130 points every night then they're a bust with the hype they get. Guys act like Bron, Wade and Bosh aren't going to miss a shot and every time they pass it to someone it's already an assist in the book.

You answer the bolded question with the red part of your statement. I dont really see what the but is for? Once again we are all just guessing here so using barometers are the best way IMO to make an educated guess on how something plays out.
