Whether he was being friendly or hostile matters little, his entire team played Charminesque.

Again, it was "computing" fine for you before the meltdown, no? It's kinda crazy dissing CLE and the supporting cast all the time when you never took the stance beforehand, mang. Carry on tho, lol.
You keep putting me on a boat that I'm not on. It's amusing.

His team overachieved because of LeBron [and no other star could have taken them to the level of success they had] and compared to other contenders, his squad never stacked up. Never in his 7 years.

How hard is that to understand though? Wow.

            Re: The LeBron James Thread

You call it "dissing" his support cast? I'm just telling you where they will finish.. no better than .500 or a bit above... 7th or 8th seed at best.

I am not calling that team garbage by any means or even "dissing" them. I'm simply saying stack Bron's team of the past few years to any of the other contenders and his team comes up short every time.

Please save these two posts so there is no more confusion on what I think about Bron's past two years in Cleveland.

He hasn't had great or trash support. Just average support. Now before the past two years, yes LeBron has had garbage teammates... just garbage.

The regular season success they've accomplished makes perfect sense for the type of team he's had over the past few years. Once the playoffs hit it was a whole nother ball game with no post presence and no Robin.

Please please save this post and reference it whenever you feel confused about the topic.

Seriously. If the exchanges weren't friendly, then why exchange at all? Stand up and tell him to get the funk over to his bench. This team obviously didn't have anyone willing man up on and off the court.

Seriously though Ex you keep saying how no other player could have taken that team to the success that LeBron did like it's some huge accomplishment. That team was built to maximize LeBron's strengths so of course no other player could have taken them to the heights he did, they were built specifically to his talents. It was an entire team of jumpshooters brought together to spot up on the perimeter while LeBron drives and then kicks back out to them for the open look. Saying that no other player could do what he did with that team isn't making LeBron's star any brighter. I could say the same thing about the Orlando Magic if you take Dwight Howard off that team and replace him with any other star because the very core of that team's game and it's construction is based on having that beast of a center down low opening up everything those other guys do. It doesn't make Dwight a better player that he could take the Magic to the Finals and Kobe Bryant would be lucky to get out of the East with them if he was they're superstar.

Yeah you could say that about the Magic, and it speaks to how great of a presence Dwight is.

Anyway that is hardly a point I want to even argue. My main thing is if people really think the Cavs stacked up against the true contenders of the league of the past few years, IMO they're kidding themselves.

And no I'm not saying the Cavs have had awful support either. Just average at best.

I dunno Ex, I'm not saying the supporting cast was great, but they were definitely good enough to win a championship. At the end of the day you don't play games on paper you play them on the court. Matchups are how games are won on the court not how a team looks against the other team before they've played a game. Golden State didn't stack up against that Mavs team either but that didn't stop them from pulling the upset in the first round. Oklahoma City's roster didn't exactly stack up against the Lakers and a lucky bounce here or there and we could have had a totally different outcome. Unfortnately there was a whole lot of quitting last year in a very winnable series and so we'll never know the answer.

                        Definitely good enough?

How do you figure with no post presence, no Robin? And I won't even diss Mo "Ghost in the playoffs" Williams or Candace Parker's brother.

People always point to the regular season success when they know darn well the playoffs are a different ball game.

IMO sure they could have won a ring, but compared to the other contenders... those other teams had waaaay better odds than Cleveland.

Yea, I mean the Lakers had, in a lot of people's mind, a player better than Lebron, plus Gasol, plus Odom, plus Artest/Ariza, Bynum. It's no comparison, I don't see how they had enough to win a championship. Now, they didn't even make it to the finals, so I guess you can argue they underachieved, but to say they had enough where they should have won a championship, I don't buy that.

The thing is, why the hell wouldn't anyone stand up and tell him to GTFO? They just basically invited him to come and talk **** on their bench.
