Re: The LeBron James Thread
If you thought the Heat would acheive as much regular season success as those Cavs' teams [whom had perfect regular season chemistry] as soon as this season, you must have been way too optimistic.
When you factor in key injuries to a Miami team already short on depth, and short on decent centers, you shouldn't expect them to match those win totals of Cleveland.
Seems like you were assumuing way too much.
Especially when you factor in that Miami is playing 4 on 7 or 8 most nights. When Wade/James are both drivers not shooters....
Their record now is still highly impressive.
Actually, let me be specific since I know it's necessary... I love all the excuses for the Heat paired with "he was just playing with a bunch of bums last year".Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
When did I compare regular season basketball to post season basketball? Could've sworn I just said it'd be interesting to see the stats on "clutch" moments for James when the team was expected to win vs when they weren't. I can't even give a reply to this one. I just don't know what you're talking about.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
All that Hate/Ignorant/ce mess shouldn't have been mentioned or brought up in the first place, if you want to keep it 100.
Because someone else's definition is different than yours or somebody else, then that means they're doing one of the two or both? The **** type of logic is that?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Nope, wasn't assuming anything of the sort because A)I don't think he was playing with trash in Cleveland last year and B)Didn't think the Heat would win 70 games and/or the championship this year. I just think it's funny that people are still hanging onto the "no help" excuse... even when they admit he quit in the Boston series. I love the excuses you're throwing out for the Heat right now though.

He has plenty of help with Miami. His bench is depleated and his team has suffered injuries to key players [Haslem and Miller].
Excuses? I was stating facts. But re-word stuff as you please.Comment

Do you know what ignorant means? Do you know what ignorance means? Maybe I need you to explain the difference to me since you're extremely adamant about using one word instead of the other.

As far as clutch stats, where did the "expected to win" comment come from.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
LOL And now the excuses for this team come out.
But I guess it was only a matter of time before that happened I will say.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Once again, excuses? Na nobody is doing that. I'm giving you the reason why they don't "have as many regular season wins as Cleveland has had in the recent past".Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread

The "expected to win" comment came from TheShizNo1's definition of "clutch", in which case I would like to see stats when that's the case. Honestly I don't even know why you brought that up or even making some argument against it. I'd like a twix too... what's the point of someone else trying to argue against it, lol.
Do you want situations of when they may be "expected to win"? Could be based on the Vegas spread going into the game. Could be based on his team's overall record compared to the team they're playing in a home game. Could be based on a number of things which is why the stats most likely don't exist. But I personally would be interested in seeing them. Don't know why you aren't ok with that.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
But I'm glad he said it instead of acting like it didn't happen like a lot of commentators/analysts do. I didn't actually SEE/HEAR him say it though so it could've been somebody else calling him out and he'd have no choice but to man up.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Going back to "expected to win", let's talk about that.
The playoffs are a different animal from the regular season. So just because Cleveland won more regular season games than Boston or Orlando [the last teams to oust them the past 3 years] that means they should be favored?
Outside of when he quit last year [where he still produced at a pretty crazy rate], he has put up insane mind boggling numbers the past several years in the playoffs whether or not his team was favored in any quarter of a game.
So there's that.Comment

I don't have any excuses for this team. Maybe jellying problems. But even then they shouldn't be where they are right now.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories
