A better response would've been "it'd be ignorant to believe James hasn't hit many jump shots in clutch situations". You can point to stats to back the idea that James has hit jump shots in clutch situations, but you can't produce stats to say someone is clutch. The stats are fun for discussion but they can only support an opinion of an idea that's loosely defined. Either way, that's IF that's how you meant it. Pairing "ignorance" and "*****" in response to a disagreement is generally interpreted the same way around here though and I know you know that.

    2) How can it be flawed logic when I just think it'd be interesting to see stats from those situations? I have no idea what the stats would look like and don't plan on using them to prove or disprove anything so what logic is there to be flawed? Not to mention, there are plenty of regular season situations that would be included in these stats so I don't even know what you're talking about. I think you're too wrapped up in an argument to understand my part of the discussion.
I didn't call anyone ignorant, nobody is tap dancing break dancing or line dancing. So stop.

It's flawed logic to to think that regular season basketball compares to playoff basketball. Simple.

Seems like you were assumuing way too much.

Especially when you factor in that Miami is playing 4 on 7 or 8 most nights. When Wade/James are both drivers not shooters....

Their record now is still highly impressive.
Nope, wasn't assuming anything of the sort because A)I don't think he was playing with trash in Cleveland last year and B)Didn't think the Heat would win 70 games and/or the championship this year. I just think it's funny that people are still hanging onto the "no help" excuse... even when they admit he quit in the Boston series. I love the excuses you're throwing out for the Heat right now though.

Actually, let me be specific since I know it's necessary... I love all the excuses for the Heat paired with "he was just playing with a bunch of bums last year".

Do you know what ignorant means? Do you know what ignorance means? Maybe I need you to explain the difference to me since you're extremely adamant about using one word instead of the other.

When did I compare regular season basketball to post season basketball? Could've sworn I just said it'd be interesting to see the stats on "clutch" moments for James when the team was expected to win vs when they weren't. I can't even give a reply to this one. I just don't know what you're talking about.

All that Hate/Ignorant/ce mess shouldn't have been mentioned or brought up in the first place, if you want to keep it 100.

Because someone else's definition is different than yours or somebody else, then that means they're doing one of the two or both? The **** type of logic is that?

Who said he had trash in Cleveland?

He has plenty of help with Miami. His bench is depleated and his team has suffered injuries to key players [Haslem and Miller].

Excuses? I was stating facts. But re-word stuff as you please.

I know the difference between saying "that was ignorant" and "you're ignorant". Apparently that was confused somewhere.

As far as clutch stats, where did the "expected to win" comment come from.

LOL And now the excuses for this team come out.

But I guess it was only a matter of time before that happened I will say.

Once again, excuses? Na nobody is doing that. I'm giving you the reason why they don't "have as many regular season wins as Cleveland has had in the recent past".

Whether you're calling his opinion ignorant or him ignorant doesn't matter. Neither belong in the discussion of someone's opinion. There is a place for the word, but not in a discussion about something that's not concrete like "clutch".

The "expected to win" comment came from TheShizNo1's definition of "clutch", in which case I would like to see stats when that's the case. Honestly I don't even know why you brought that up or even making some argument against it. I'd like a twix too... what's the point of someone else trying to argue against it, lol.

Do you want situations of when they may be "expected to win"? Could be based on the Vegas spread going into the game. Could be based on his team's overall record compared to the team they're playing in a home game. Could be based on a number of things which is why the stats most likely don't exist. But I personally would be interested in seeing them. Don't know why you aren't ok with that.

Yeah, "I take care of my kids!"

But I'm glad he said it instead of acting like it didn't happen like a lot of commentators/analysts do. I didn't actually SEE/HEAR him say it though so it could've been somebody else calling him out and he'd have no choice but to man up.

Going back to "expected to win", let's talk about that.

The playoffs are a different animal from the regular season. So just because Cleveland won more regular season games than Boston or Orlando [the last teams to oust them the past 3 years] that means they should be favored?

Outside of when he quit last year [where he still produced at a pretty crazy rate], he has put up insane mind boggling numbers the past several years in the playoffs whether or not his team was favored in any quarter of a game.

                              So there's that.

I don't have any excuses for this team. Maybe jellying problems. But even then they shouldn't be where they are right now.
