For lack of a better place to say it:

I wonder if Jeff Van Gundy is going to do a mea culpa on his prediction of the Heat winning 70 games this year?

Anyways i've said it before and I'll say it again, Lebron is not going to win a title with this team. Everyone says he's the alpha male and a leader blah blah blah but in reality he only likes the IDEA of being the leader. When the stakes are high and the game is on the line Lebron can't bring it.

Lebron James is "little games James". He may take you to a Finals (as he did with Cleveland) but he'll melt down and be insignificant when he's needed the most.

That's my opinion and i'm sticking to it.

(Man I shoulda made a bet with a bookie that the Heat wouldn't even make the Finals this year)

Once again, I guess some people haven't watched him play the past 5-6 seasons where he has been about as "clutch" as anyone.

In the playoffs, sure he quit that one series. So have other great stars, HOFers in fact. Maybe if Cleveland got him someone other than Mo Williams/Anthony Parker/Antwan Jamison he could have gotten a bit futher than he has thus far in his career.

People trying to say this guy is 'little game James'? Are you ****ing serious? Do you watch the NBA? ahhahahahahahah

Hate is a strong emotion. It clouds my judgment at times.

Or maybe I just don't want this threesome thing to permeate the entire league.

I've been watching the NBA off and on since '91.

You tell me what more he could have done in 2008-2009 where his numbers were about as unhuman as you'll see in a playoff series against Orlando

Tell me what more in 2007-2008 where he pushed the eventual champs to 7 games with the likes of Big Z/Wally/Ben Wallace

Tell me what more in 2006-2007 where he took Drew freakin Gooden/Boobie/Sasha Pavlovic to the NBA finals. Where he made the Detroit Pistons [whom were Kings of the East for several years] look like little boys

You tell me where you see 'little game James' in those years before he quit last playoff run

Well Okay you have me there and I have to give Lebron props when he's been really motivated he's shown he can do pretty much what he wants. It's just like I said above I don't like the whole way he's handled things in the last couple years.

So i'll take back what I said about "little games james" but I still stand by my opinion that the Heat won't win a championship and if they do well if we're still both on this site you can give me an avatar/sig to display for a couple months after said championship.

I don't share the "never" sentiments of SPTO but hell yeah I'll kick em. They asked for it and not just because they all decided to go to the same team. Everything about the way they came into this season put a bullseye on their back and if they can't handle the pressure they created, that's on them.

He may not win a title with Miami, those things tend to be elusive.

If they get anything more than the corpses they currently have on that bench and at the center positions, they will have great odds to get at least one.

I was just watching the 2009 playoffs of LeBron James last night (or the night before). Man oh man... I still can't find something he could of done to make that team better. In the orlando series of game one. In both game one and two they were up by almost 25 points at halftime. They were all over the place on defense. I also watched the Bulls series from last season playoffs. That Bulls game 4 he drop that triple double in chicago. Man he was beast...

See, i'd be less critical if Lebron and Co. didn't go around telling anyone who'd listen that they'll win 5 championships etc etc.
