No free agent tour definitely helps the Cleveland train.
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!

I'd rather go for the title when you know you can than leave anything for chance.

Now, that right there makes it a shame if LeBron leaves Cleveland. That franchise has done everything in its power to win. Yet Cleveland gets so discredited because Chicago and Miami can bring in two max players. As Ric Bucher said, Cleveland had the best record the last two years. They also were at their best with the roster that's slated to come back (that means without Shaq and Z).

LeBron has just as good of a chance to win next year in Cleveland as anywhere. And once that window starts to close, the Cavaliers will have flexibility to bring in new talent with LeBron.
The only way Chicago is a more attractive team is if Bosh signs too....and if that happens, well, the idea of all these free agents playing together leaves me frusturated. It's like a little kid playing an NBA 2K10 Dynasty with stacked rosters on the front end instead of building a team the old fashioned way. I wouldn't be able to look at LeBron the same way I look at Jordan or Kobe if he bails on Cleveland and convinces Bosh and Joe Johnson to join him in Chicago. If he leaves and brings no one else with him, that's one thing. But if Bosh follows him to Chicago or New York, well, he could win the next 10rings and I still will go to my grave saying Kobe and MJ were better.

People were dissing the women of Chicago back in the middle of this topic somewhere. No need to insult all the women in a city to make a case for a friggin basketball player to sign with your team.
Hey, I know some fine women in Chicago I'd use that argument, as a fan, that you guys have enough. Had the wonderful Jordan years, some nice ladies, so you don't need LeBron James. lol

Are you surprised.. Neither-1 of these jabroni's will even mention the Knicks whenever talking Lebron. To them he's either going to Chi-Town or Miami. It's disgusting. I can't wait to see/hear what that they have the say if Lebron decides to come to NY

I've been trying to start a new franchise in 2k with Lebron and some superstars with him on a variety of teams(Miami, Chicago, NY) but I just can't. I beat everyone and turn it off mid-way through the 2nd qtr lol. Then I try and go back to just playing with him on Cleveland but that doesn't work either. I always say "man he's not gonna be here much longer".

My videogame life will be much easier when all of this is over.

Lol. Honestly dude, I'm kind of pulling for Cleveland in a small little part of me. If the Bulls can't get him, I want to see him stay in Cleveland. It'd kind of be a cool story to see the hometown kid stay and eventually win one for the Cavs. At the same time, I want the Bulls to get back to building their franchise. I know everyone likes to harp on the Jordan era of the franchise, but every franchise starts somewhere. The Lakers had to start somewhere, the Celtics had to start somewhere. Just because the Bulls have only had one true superstar in the franchise's history doesn't mean the franchise has to be forever trapped with that.

Based on recent events I would like to change my vote from New York to Chicago, please.

I wonder how different the results would be now if we voted again?

LeBron doesn't look too bad in those Bulls jerseys (no homo). It's gonna be odd seeing him without a Cavs jersey next season...

I'd like it to be Oklahoma City......but i doubt that's gonna happen.

Same here. I voted new york when the thread first started but recently I
have a feeling that the bulls are gonna snatch bron.
