And that's another reason the Heat are undefeated when Wade doesn't play. Teams can't play zone at all with their current team. When Battier is in the starting line up. Your talking about a team that hasn't lost much on the defensive end. But also gained another "spread you out" shooter. So trying to double team LeBron or "zoning" him up is a terrible idea. Mario will has been playing very well lately. Norris Cole is just another JJ Barea off the bench. Not to mention James Jones, Mike Miller and Haslem. Worst of all if Curry give them any kind of production.

Only problem I see is when Wade and LeBron are on the floor and teams play zone. They need to better define their roles in the zone.

I agree, saw it all game with the Lakers. Lakers D would collapse into the paint of have their attention in that area, pass out to an opening on the perimeter, splash.

I don't necessarily think the Heat aren't great by any means, but it's surprising how unrefined Wade/Bron's roles seem to be when they're out together.

I think it's a hard thing. It's basically the samething that's happening to Amare with Tyson in NY. Amare pretty use to being the only talented big on his teams.

They just need to find a balance. I just think of last years game 5 vs the Bulls. If they can find that perfect middle like that. Your talking about something very scary.

        Have a good weekend guys!

Chicago doesn't pose any more of a match-up issue for the Heat than they did last year. I don't see anything besides health causing their series to play out differently.

I don't why everyone thinks its automatically going to be the Heat vs the Bulls in the ECF, relying on their defense and D-rose to have great games is not going to work this year in the post season...........If the Bulls make it to the ECF I'll never post in the Pro Basketball forum again (mark my words).

One of the things I never understood last year in the finals. Is why did the Heat go away from the Wade-LeBron pick and roll/pop? It was beyond effective. I kind of still think this might happen down the line. But Wade might have to come off the bench eventually. They both are not going to be spot up shooters anytime soon. Just give Wade starter minutes off the bench.
WHOA ! the best player in the league(when healthy imo) coming off the bench is crazy

24 I just don't think Bulls are that good. If they run into the Pacers again in the playoffs this year they won't get past em, their lucky they got that #1 seed last year

Reading your posts regarding this subject, if one didn't know any better, you'd believe that the Bulls actually beat the Heat last year in the playoffs. Boozer and Noah do raise some questions not gonna lie, however everyone else on that team has improved and the addition of Rip is going to pay off. Rose isn't the only guy who's a threat to score anymore.

Honestly haven't really seen the Rip acquisition pay off the way many thought it would, granted he's been hurt. Give it time, I suppose.

I guess your right cause I haven't seen any Bulls games this season except when they played the clippers...people keep saying how brewer shot has improved. Boozer is just a question mark to me and Noah is only giving you about 7 points a game and no one on their bench is a threat to score, but I will admit their defense is great but its only going to work in the regular season this year.

He has only played in six games so far this year after signing like...the day before the first preseason game. Bulls just had their first full practice of the year yesterday as well. Sooooo still a little early to say it hasn't payed off yet.

So defense only works in the regular season? Really wizzle? Really?
