I just thought by now some people would of moved on. And just enjoy what's going on right now. I just don't see the point in these very long back and forth post. Losing Kobe (and a ton of other players) this season really opened my eyes how much I'm going to miss seeing these guys.

edit: If you check out some of the best ft shooters. They all shoot the ball with the ball in front of them. Just check out Durant FT for example.

Thing is, will the NBA market other players and teams to you. Its a process of repeats. You see the same thing all the time you get used to it enough to the point they don't even bother giving you anything else.

There is another group of young stars coming up, and good ones too... so yeah its more to see, it never stops but as it is, especially with the comparisons, they don't even give you space to appreciate players for what they are anymore at the time they are there.

Chris Bosh also said he would have come to Cleveland if LeBron told him to.
sorry for the delay i have not been in this thread the last few days.

it is quite possible that those stories are not true. but those were the types of rumors floating around. all this time, i had always been under the belief that the only reason he left cleveland in the end, was because he couldnt get other players to come there with him.

so if what you are saying is true, then my follow up question would be:

-- are you saying that my belief that he actually wanted to stay in cleveland is false? because in this case, i was actually giving him the benefit of the doubt in regards to him doing everything within his power to stay in cleveland up until the point where he left.

They guy is amazing. We all just need to enjoy what we are seeing. I'm not a Kobe fan by any means but I have enjoyed his career and watching him be dominant. I refuse to limit my enjoyment of the sport by carrying on resentment for players that I don't know personally. 4 time MVP's that have just entered their prime don't come around much. Sit back and enjoy.

but isnt there an entirely different thread dedicated to the playoffs; where none of these type of convos about lebron is going on?

I believe that his move was set up well before he left. 2008, during the Olympics is when it started, then at some point during the 2009 season he met with Pat Riley.

I think he really did want to win a title in Cleveland, and I think before his career is done, he will probably wear the Wine and Gold again, but it's pretty apparent that his decision was made well before he hit Free Agency.

Have to agree. Even reading my SI issue from right after the deal happened, they talked to Pat and he had said they wanted to land Chris and LeBron well before the 2010 Free Agency.

Why does LeBron not dunk over guys much anymore off penetration? He gets way high enough, he almost always brings the ball down to try one of those scoop shot looking lay-ups.. Drives me nuts.

Probably worries about getting hurt, or trying to make the shot more likely to go in.

I still have that photo download on my computer at home!!!! lol Can't believe pulled that one out. He is the most amazing thing about that. LeBron never got a triple double until his second year in the NBA. Is that that a little shocking?

edit: His numbers look just like his NBA numbers haha

Wait... Why was the first game of his senior season suspended?
I assume based on his low stats that he just played the first quarter and by then it was like 45-3 cause the opponent was that bad or something lol

The game was suspended. Not James haha.

HS games with 8 min quarters and you have to wonder how many teams they were blowing out to the point where he played no more than 20 mins... makes it hard to rattle off the assists for the most part. I think it's easier for big men to get triple doubles in HS because they aren't discouraged to shoot if they get the ball since they're likely in the paint, shouldn't have a problem getting at least 10 boards and 10 blocks for them against a certain level of comp is much easier than any HS scorer getting 10 assists.
