I don't either. He's better at everything outside of shooting and it's not like Rose is a knockdown shooter yet.

Rondo also disappeared the final 2-3 games from that series after the Brad Miller incident.

As adept as Rose is at scoring, Rondo is at controlling tempo and his court awareness is on par with Nash/CP3.

Rose and Rondo are both fearless and don't seem to be effected by the pressure of the playoffs.

Still edge goes to Rose. His skill set is disgusting and his shot will continue to improve.

From 3 no, but his mid range game is wicked.

Alt I strongly disagree with that statement. The last three games were as close as they come and Rondo contributed mightily to all three of them.

            Disappeared is some strong verbiage.

Howard, LBJ, CP3, Williams, Durant, Wade, Bosh, Rose, Rondo = top 9
You don't think any other player will emerge over the next decade?

                Danny Grainger?
                Tyreke Evans?
                Brook Lopez?

Evans just did what only 3 others before him had done in their rookie years, and those guys were Oscar Rob, Jordan, and Lebron.

Granger needs to GTFO of Indiana.

They might? But my money is on those 9 guys for now. They are the safest money.

Granger doesn't have the it factor and he doesn't strike me as a win at all costs player.. which all the great ones have.
Evans could very well be included, it's going to be tough though as Sacramento is like the Toronto/Indy/Milwaukee of the West. Meaning no stars are clamoring to join him.
Brook is also another possibility, but like I said above, the safe money is on the guys I listed.

Derrick Rose has athleticism that the other point guards simply dont have in terms of getting to the basket, and finishing with the dunk and stuff, but he still has ways to go to catch up to CP3 and Dwill

Game 6 he had 8,19,9 and Game 5 he had a monster game. He didn't have the best Game 7.

Na, his rebounding and defense will have him in the top 10 no matter what.

I think some take his lack of a postgame a bit far. He still scores, still dominates the boards and still is the best shot blocker in the game. I don't see that changing any time soon.

                                Game 6 - 4/17 - 8 points - 19 assists - 9 rebounds (3OT Game)

                                Game 7 - 2/8 - 7 points - 11 assists - 5 rebounds - 4 TO

Dominating? No. Still contributed, especially with the dimes but far from his past game performances. His shooting also hurt his team greatly.

I agree, disappeared was a strong word but I only meant it based on his superior past game performances.
