not sure you can really argue, remember game 5, to me that was just not an off night, there was something more to it I think now.

People have the right to pick and choose where they want to work. According to some fans, I guess that doesn't apply to pro athletes. People burning LeBron's jersey is ridiculous.

Ok, I don't like the way Lebron went about the announcement and I think he should've called Gilbert and let him know his decision.

HOWEVER, Gilbert's open letter was classless garbage. I'm not even a Lebron fan. Gilbert should've let a couple days go by and not let his emotions get the best of him before issuing that statement. Disloyal and cowardly? The man worked for you, he thought he could accomplish his personal goals somewhere else. Yet people are mad because he betrayed Cleveland. How did he betray them? He fulfilled his contract, he took them to an elite level in the NBA, he made their franchise value go through the roof. I don't know any reason why he wouldn't try in the playoffs, he could've still left after the year anyway. I understand that Cleveland fans are disappointed, but it's just crazy to act like he punched your mom in the face and then said F u and left town.

I agree with Gilbert and disagree with him. I like that he said something to get us fans going. Some of it could have been left out, but its better than just sitting there saying nothing and telling us fans that he doesn't care about us.

Owners and GMs trade players and they hear about it first in the news or some website so i dont think he should have called Gilbert at all... After all its just 'buisness'... isnt that what they call it?
