And then there was one left and that team resides in the Bayou.

Forgot to post this earlier but this is an article about how Miami is still figuring out how to use Bosh down there:

The Lakers are so much better than the rest of the NBA it's ridiculous. They played really poorly in the 4th, but Denver had to scratch and claw to beat them still.

EDIT: Barkley was just saying what I was thinking just now. I think this is their best team of the last three years. The only weakness they have is at the the backup PG position. Lawson really took advantage of Blake's defense tonight.

Time to go stick it to this house full of Laker fans. Never mind the 16 to none world title count.

I LOLed at the reasoning why Bosh and Gasol aren't soft. Yes they need a big banger big playing next to them to be most effective, but as I was trying to explain to people in the Melo thread, those kind of guys just do not grow on trees and you can't just GO GET a capable presence in the post who can do all the dirty work to keep your finesse player looking like a worthy 12-14 mil dollar signing. Since you can't always have that player playing next to you, then you have to adjust your game accordingly and start making plays. You don't get a hall pass for softness cause your roster doesn't compliment you.

so I am watching the recap of the games on TNT, and they showed the Miami-Boston game highlights along with Riley and his sheet of notes...

I was just thinkin, how effin crazy would it be if Riley traded one of the Big 3 if they continue to struggle? Hahah, waaaayyy unlikely, but would be insane.

BTW, that little clip of Spoelstra at halftime - I just feel like he's in over his head with this team. There are people you can just sense who command your attention and respect, but he imo just does not have that from what I just saw.

It's funny that you say that cause I and a lot of people wanna see them fail just to see how quickly the bandwagoners throw back on their 24 jerseys and posting Facebook/Twitter updates on how they were riding the Laker train all year or whoever else is the fashionable Finals team.

Oh, I'd love for it to work, because I want Laker fans I know to shut their ****ing mouths.

I guess Lebron still doesn't have enough "talent" around him.

Lol. Exactly man. The excuses made for LeBron and the lack of talent around him was high comedy. He doesn't have that built in excuse anymore. With Wade (who I believe is better than LeBron) and Bosh (even though I personally don't think he's very good), there is no excuse for the "best" player in the world's team to be 5-4. Once people start seeing through his assist numbers and realize he makes players around him WORSE, maybe the LBJ hype train will calm down. Anyone can get alot of assists when the whole offense revolves around you dribbling the ball for 20 seconds and kicking it to a wide open shooter, on the occasions you don't opt to barrel into a defender, initiating the contact and being rewarded with 20 something freethrows. Assists don't = unselfish or making players around you better.
