MeNo what you are doing is reaching to try to make them equal. If we just looked at it on an by per 36 minutes basis then I guess Kevin Love is as good as a rebounder as Dwight Howard. Per 36 minutes Howard was at 14 Love was at 13. Would you say Kevin Love is as good as a rebounder as Dwight Howard?? You see how crazy that sounds. Nobody would put those guys as equals when it comes to hitting the glass. The fact is if Love played as much as Howard his number would likely go down. He doesn't have the stamina to play 36 minutes a night. You have to take a stat like per 36 minutes in some context.
This thread aint about Love but who is to say he cant and wont get 12rpg in starter minutes? In fact, rebounding is WHY he's in the NBA...Dont let me start on Reggie Evans..

Wow @ Love getting the 30/30.
I hate missing games like that. You never know when you're going to see something like that again.
I did see Toronto beat Orlando tonight, so that was awesome and sad at the same time.

Yeah I do remember that. At that time though Dwight was on another level from everybody else. Love said in his interview on NBA tv tonight though that past seasons he wasn't in shape or didn't have the stamina to go 36 to 40 a night so he was agreeing with that post
If you remember back to his rookie year though I was giving Love and pushing Big Al for the All star game. I was one of the few guys here backing Love on his snub comments about the rookie game. That is probably my only post about Love here that wasn't positive so to speak.Comment

No as he was in foul trouble & basically sat almost all of the 3rd in which KL had I believe 16 rebounds. It also doesn't help that D'Anotni had Wilson Chandler checking him during that stretch instead of maybe Anthony Randolph who right now is basically being $#!tted on by D'AntoniComment

Our perimeter D was so horrific that he was leaving Love to help on almost every play. Turiaf's out with an injury, Mozgov isn't NBA-ready yet and we have no other bigs. So it was pretty much Landry Fields vs Kevin Love on the block for a majority of the evening. Yeah, that went well.
