I told you, the Hornets are not good without Peja and Bayless they are just an average team now.

Hornets need a consistent scorer on the wings like you wouldn't believe. Never gonna lose enough prolly to get that guy in a draft so hopefully get another good trade or FA sign eventually. Cause honestly looking at this team now we are pretty much that 1 guy away from competing imo

Scary, scary, scary moment there for the Bulls. Rose went down hard, I mean hard driving to the basket. Fortunately he's back out there shooting his free throws and seems to be okay, but that was definitely a scary moment for the Bulls and Chicago fans.

What did they have to do with anything?

When Okafor plays well the Hornets will win. Just like when Chandler was there. Big man control the paint, score in the paint.....that is what they need consistently.

I do hope you were joking. Peja and Bayless played insignificant minutes.

Yeah the ugliest play in basketball. I wish they would call flagrant fouls for undercutting while taking a charge. I wish the NBA would change the block/charge call rule.

Not seeing why those 2 make much of a difference, Peja was a DNP almost every night and Bayless produced the same amount as Jack has been so far.

I didn't see the play but would you rather the defensive just let them walk right to the hoop? Basketball is a contact sport. If a player is driving to the hoop, he should be expecting contact and be ready to take a nasty fall. If he gets hurt, that's part of the game.

This actually sums up the Hornets. If Okafor plays decent we win

Peja and Bayless wouldn't help the Hornets any better right now, if anything I'd rather have them back just to try to make a better trade before the deadline

It is a horrible "play" and it is destroying basketball.

There is no problem with taking a charge but flopping to the ground or slidding into this "position" has become a horrible way to play defense. Players get hurt, it forces the refs to blow the whistle every time a defender flops to the ground, it takes away from the beauty of the game and really is the cheapest form of defense there is.

If taking a charge was so tough why don't it happen on the playground?
