Re: Who is your NBA MVP as of right now?

Just had someone call me ignorant and to stop relying on ESPN for my basketball knowledge for saying Rose is the MVP and not LeBron. Then he proceeded to send me a John Hollinger article.

Suns fans are stupid too, I guess.

I like Dwight for MVP, this year. I just love how he stepped up his offensive game and he has been dominant all year.

After further review, I really wouldn't complain if any of these 7 won:

Rose, Howard, James, Wade, Dirk, Bryant, Durant

You can really poke holes through every one of their cases, but when it comes down to it, the least holes is probably Rose.

Rose easily wins the ESPN vote.

Dr. also picked Bogans as DPOY

Let me adjust my statement from above:

I wouldn't be mad if Rose, Howard, Wade, LeBron, Kobe or Durant won

Yeah, I saw that as well. Even as a Bulls fan, I had to laugh. Now don't get me wrong, Bogan's has gotten his act together since the start of the season and has played well. Offensively and defensively. BUT Luol Deng is probably the Bulls best defender right now AND he would have a hard time winning the award.

62-20, Best record in the NBA. Clearly Rose is the MVP, and Thibs is coach of the year. He tied Paul Westphal for the best record ever for a rookie headcoach.

I feel the same way you do about the MVP. If I had a vote mine would go to Rose which is saying alot since I hate the Bulls. Dr. Ramsay might be getting seenile in his old age, lol. Manu,MVP, LOL. I probably alittle bias as i cant stand Manu.

I would only pick Derrick Rose because his team made it to the 1-seed and he creates everything for that offense. But I really feel like Dwight Howard is the most deserving. The effect he has on defense is by far the greatest of any individual player in the league. The only problem is the Magic are a 4-seed and MVP's are never on team's seeded that low.

Anyone who would pick LeBron clearly doesn't watch the Heat enough. wade is clearly the MVP of that team regardless of the fact that LeBron produces more all-around, wade is what pushes the Heat over the top as a title contender.

Explain why Wade is the MVP though, because you just insulted a lot of people who do actually watch Miami play a lot

Wade's just the most important player. When he is the best player in a game for the Heat, the team is so much more unbeatable than when LeBron is. Like when Wade is super active on defense and slashing all over the court on offense the team is at its best.

LeBron is so consistent I guess with the big numbers he puts up that people like me probably take it for granted. Fact of the matter is, the Heat will only win it all if Wade elevates his game to a higher level and becomes the team's most important and valuable player.

Back up that theory with actual facts and examples. Because without evidence, it's nothing more than a theory [a poor one IMO].
