Big, fat, hairy, shirtless, sweaty guy is the worst. He always tries to post you up and sweat all over you, his sheen makes him disgusting and un-guardable at the same time.

Kind of like that oil wrestler in Super Street Fighter IV.

I don't know man when I played with Ricky Price (former dookie) he was pretty damn good for an overseas player.

The guy who thinks hes got the best handles in the world and keep trying to do a through the legs crossover but failed.

The guy that is tall who should be rebounding, posting up but instead thinks hes a Lamar Odom Point-Forward and keeps dominating the ball and doesnt pass.

I admit the few overseas guys I've played against have happened to be pretty good. However, in one instance, it was a former DIII college player who presented the most ridiculous of issues. After bodying him up on the perimeter (it was admittedly a foul - though of the clean and harmless sort) he exclaimed, no joke, "Get off me! I played college ball!"

Obviously, this led to a stupid exchange and an extended back and forth delaying the game a little bit as I falsely suggested I was fearful of his claim. Things got heated and I felt bad. I do not like creating enemies off the court, so I walked to his car as he was leaving to apologize for being such a jerk while acknolwedging my defense was a little overdone on the perimeter. He shook my hand and accepted my apology, saying, "Aw it's all good man. But seriously, I did play college ball. Look it up online."

I have ran into some good ones as well. Most of the time, however, they aren't that good and leave me thinking, "How did they play overseas?". I've got some NBDL stories too lol

I'll give it a whirl. There seems to be a certain personality type connected to the underhand outlet guys. They don't throw them because they don't know any better. Rather, it seems they're pulling them off because they think it makes their game look tight and fresh. As such, it's tough to avoid confrontation when offering different passing suggestions because their pride says there is no way better than their way.

Was gonna say, there are definitely some ballers that aren't good enough for the NBA but better than the average college guy (let alone, the average pick up player).

The one guy who I always seem to get is the 6'0'' graduate student who shoots 3's all day and makes about 50-60% of them. He's got butt-ugly form but his confidence is through the roof so he shoots whenever he gets an inch of space.

I've seen this guy, recently in fact. 5 on 5 I got one on my team and we played to 21 and he hit 7 three's (2's). Worst form I've ever seen, he basically like skipped to the shot but it went in. That's all he could pretty much do though.

I really, REALLY hate playing with dudes who just love chucking up contested shots and attempting cute layups even though I'm WIDE OPEN on the perimeter, ready to take the shot. Guys who think they're Kobe are just annoying in general.

Last time I tried playing pick-up ball, the only things everyone would try to do all day consisted of driving mindlessly and getting blocked or fouled, trying to beat double or triple teams in the post, or jacking up horrifying shots that ended up hitting nothing but the backboard.

Needless to say, I gave up on that.

The person who plays no defense but continues to yell to step up the d. It pisses me off to no end if i'm guarding one of the better players on the floor and i'm getting yelled at because they get by me every once in a while while he gets scored on constantly.

Also the person who plays no help defense because he doesn't want to leave his guy and claims its "your man" (in my experiences this person tends to also be the person described above...)

The person who is awful, can do almost nothing basketball related, but when he scores its like he's freakin lebron james and acts like he could do it anytime he wanted.

I dont know if its been mentioned, but i see more and more of the old guy on the court who doesnt do anything but make traveling calls....
