Short term memory indeed....Paul was that dude for a while on the majority of peoples lists....

seemed like it wasnt until these past playoffs people remembered how bad of a man he is...

Knee injuries usually take 18-24 months to get back to normal. Paul was around that 18 month mark leading to the playoffs. He just been injuried an that's why he hasn't been as dynamic. Barring any set backs I bet money this is the CP3 we'll be seeing for a while.

I'm the biggest Rose fan in the world, but CP3 is hands down the best POINT GUARD. Dude's knack for the passing lanes and his overall court vision is unmatched in the league right now. Deron Williams or Rose aren't even close to that.

Rose has some catching up to do in the passing and defense department. I thought the defense of side would came out after playing in the FIBA. I hope he learns to pace himself on those pick and rolls. He could get teammates layups and wide open jumpers like crazy. Westbrook and Rose should attend some CP3 camps this year.

I agree. I've said before, I think the defensive side will come full circle when he doesn't have to expend so much energy on the offensive end.

It's all about experience and learning the game. He'll get there. Probably well never be a good of a passer as Paul either because that's not his game, but there is definite room for improvement.

In his case, it's all about learning pace and making smarter decisions.

And if Deron gets back in the playoffs and plays like he usually does, then the samething being said about CP3 will be said about him next LOL.

But like I said, short term memory(and that's fine)because the last image we have of Deron was that he was sitting his butt at home in April whereas CP3 had his team in the playoffs so of course he's gonna get the nod right now. Hell before last year, nobody would've considered Derrick Rose a Top 5 PG but now the guy's a Top 3-5 PG in the league.

But all this "Yeah CP3 has been the best PG by FAR for a while and it's not even close" mess...Stop it 5, especially considering there hasn't been much, if any, that has separated them at all. But H2H since they've both been in the League, Paul knows what's up just like Hornets Fans know what's up except they don't want to admit it.

I still think the top 2 point guards are CP3 and then Deron Williams. Derrick Rose would probably be number 3 or tied with Rondo for the 3 spot.

Not sure what Hornets fan deny that Williams size makes him a tough cover for Paul.

Rose and Westbrook are significantly better PG's than Rondo. You'll never, despite how inconsistent their respective jumpers are, see defenders sag 5 feet away from either of them, daring them to shoot jumpers.

Also, they can actually get to the line and convert at a respectable clip.

As far as PG's are concerned at this point.(imo) That said, Wall will be better than them all in two or three seasons.
