    Will still never forget this.

        Kyrie is Australian?

I would've never known to think he's Australian.

I don't understand why he wants to be on the Australian national team, he moved away when he was only 2. Maybe its because his dad played professionally there or something.

or, it could be with that whole "Derek Rose, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and John Wall are all Americans" thing.

I don't think Kyrie cares where he plays, but he could declare for either nation.

So in other words, he doesn't want to have to put in some work for his spot on this or any future teams?

                  Not even.

I'm just saying, if you gonna let them or any other PG that you THINK might be better than you make you go play for Austrailia, then....well I'm just saying.

At least I HOPE that's not the case.

I hate people like that. You're American. Play for America. If you can't make the team, tough ****. But you're not Australian, so really, get the hell outta here man.

EDIT: And I figured I should clarify. I know he's technically born in Australia. But, ya, c'mon, really.

...yet he was born in Australia, so he is an Australian.

He's not exactly in the same situation as Luol Deng, lol.

It would be like Steve Kerr lobbying to play for the Lebanese National Team.

I agree with Matrix. That's like saying Michael Jordan is from Brooklyn. Yea he was born there. But do you really consider a guy who moved from a country when he was 2 years old and spent the rest of his life in and playing American basketball.

But I will say if FIBA allow him to play for the Aussie then switch back it will be pretty funny in my opinion. I thought this thing was about Pride for County lol.

Or Steve Nash playing for South Africa.

So he wants to go to a team where he's gonna get nowhere in every international competition? With the way he's going I could see him getting on a team over John Wall, and he'll still be playing international ball after CP3 is done I think.

I don't care either way, but I'd like to hear the guy's reasoning.

Also would like to hear Kaman's reasoning for somehow wanting to represent Germany.
