Lebron, Wade, CP3 and Westbrook all drop out of the Superstars tour. Now do you see why it so hard to put something together outside of the NBA?

Or is it because they know that the lockout might be ending? I'm just saying.

Could be but Rose and Melo dropped out yesterday before today's meeting. Also, the first game is Saturday. Why miss out on that money when there is a chance negotiations could fall through.

True. But maybe these guys had a better ear to the negotiations than we do? Maybe they got some inside info fromr the union that the next meetings could end the lockout? I'm not sure. But if the lockout is ending this week, then I'm going to attribute it to them knowing that the lockout was ending soon. We'll see.

So now Rose, Wade, Lebron, CP3, Melo, and Westbrook are out? Who is "in"?

That's a big chunk of your "Star Power".

Wade is still in it. So far, the confirmed guys who are still in is Wade, Kobe Bryant, and Amare Stoudemire.

I guess the tour has stopped selling tickets in Puerto Rico. That's a good thing, right?

Dont you guys find it weird that david stern cancelled the 1st 2weeks of the season? but then after the meeting with the mediator & stuff.. plus 12hours meeting. & stern clearly said if nothing happens hes going to cancel the next 2 weeks? I thought he was suppose to cancel it either monday or tuesday.. hmm im hoping a deal will be done very very soon. Stephan a Smith is optimistic that a deal will be done in a week. & so am I

At this point wouldn't be surprised if they sneak a deal in there to save the majority of the season.

Start the season in December and have it go all the way thru the end of June(Finals included)and by the time that's over, you got the Draft and then FA is starting up. I hope they can find a way to get all 82 games in this season(although it's unlikely)but I think in the future, this is how is should be.

Just shorten the 1st round to 5 games first of all because that crap takes too long and then a team can wait up to a week and a half just to play game 1 in the finals...ridiculous

I propose a 61 game season starting in early to mid December:

You play the other 4 teams in your division 4 times - 16 games
You play the other 10 teams in your conference 3 times - 30 games
You play the other 15 teams in the opposite conference 1 time - 15 games

                                Seems fair to me.
