It is on now, the new fab five (Nash,Nowitski,Finley,Jamison,Walker) plus Fortson,Best, delk, howard, bradley. Opening Night we wreck the Fakers, then anybody else that wants some.

3 years out of the last 4 the Fakers have been doing some hella Faking cause they had me convinced they won 3 championships.

I love how people say Nash plays so hard during the regular season that he loses steam in the playoffs.....Me, I just call it CHOKE!!!

Re: Not a matter of IF, but WHEN the Spurs repeat!

Thats why Parker owns francis in head-2-head matchups. Correct me if I am wrong, but in one game last yr, Coach Rudy T pulled Francis out of the game b/c Parker was treating him like his B***h!
But this is the NBA where most players & fans only care about stats & dunks & not about team ball & winning it for the team.
I'll take Parker over any PG 2day. Oh & where are the M.Bibby [censored you naughty boy] who were trying to roast me for saying Parker was better last yr? Ha!

These are great days for a Spurs fan, we have guards who can shoot and score, great role players and a ton of 3 point shooters. If Rose and Nesterovic can play well, then they will certainly be better than last year.

Umm it's called a great Spurs defense. All these so called guys playing their worst or in terrible slumps is usually due to the Spurs D, thank you very much. And I am so f#cking sick of all the cry babies out there who NEVER give the Spurs credit. First they all asterix their first title (Phil Jackson - go eat s#it!) then they cry with every excuse under the sun during the Lakers series and say Spurs got lucky with the injury to Dirk. The form Duncan was in was amazing and he was actually improving every time he stepped onto the court, so I fancy the Spurs against any healthy team. But the fact is injuries occur, get over it. We missed Duncan for the playoffs a few years ago and simply shut up about it and still tried our best. And Martin was either told to step out to bring Duncan with him, or he was like many guys who was just too scared to muscle up. Which is funny, considering all the crap he talked about before the series started.

Their first title didn't count and yes, sorry, Duncan is a monster and the best player in the NBA, and dispite Dirk's injury(somemore divine intervention)I'd pick the Spurs, but don't credit Spurs defense for their victory of LA, cause LA slumped everywhere last year, not to mention their unexpected injuries(thx David) and the Kings lost(thx David).....face it, the championship was gift wrapped and they still had to work hard to get it. BTW, don't take it so personal, cursing out Phil Jackson and what not, it's a well known fact that the Spurs aren't good enough to beat the real Lakers and the Kings, nor exciting enough to boost a NBA Finals rating equivalent to that of Seinfield reruns

The only Spurs fans that live outside of Texas are either Monks or Punks.

Duncan can't be matched for starters and when he is double and tripled, then their backcourt and other load of bench players become that much better and more important.

These are great days for a Spurs fan, we have guards who can shoot and score, great role players and a ton of 3 point shooters. If Rose and Nesterovic can play well, then they will certainly be better than last year.

Oh and I'd take Ginobili over Kittles, Hardaway, Sprewell or Mobley. And I'd take Parker over Francis, Cassel, Billups or Nash too.

People can talk about the Spurs, the new and improved Mav and Wolves, but the fact of the matter is not one of those teams stand a chance against a healthy and clicking Laker and Sacramento team. Everybody wrote of the Kings, but there is no doubt in every Laker fan's mind that the Kings are the true enemies. The Spurs were lucky The Admiral had some divine connections cause Shaq played the worst ball in his life, Rick Fox and his replacement Devon George were hurt, and Robert Horry was truly disgusting, and on the other side, the Kings lose their go to guy. Thx David

We don't have to prove anything. When the lakers win no one questions them. When the Spurs win a title, everybody has an excuse.
