He's nothing special, but he does have some range for a big man. Career high is 20 points.

I think the Lakers misplayed their hand.

They went hard after CP3 in hopes to dump salary to NO and then get D12 over to LA as well.

The owners jumped in and clearly saw what was going on and decided to block it.

Now they're gonna be "left with" CP3 & Kobe with a pencil-thin frontline.

CP3 was just the bait for the big prize but it slipped off the hook. They really don't care too much for CP3 in my honest opinion.

        yeah that confuses me to.....

I mean the Nets would be good but i still have doubts they would win a title with Howard and Williams

I think even as a Mavs homer that Dirk is the best compliment to Howard out of all the players he could play with right now.

Seriously would there be a more deadly combo than Dirk and Dwight even if it was for just one season Dwight has a really good chance to win a ring this year with dallas.

I mean you can't stop Dirk by himself how the hell would any team deal with him and Dwight?

But i guess these guys now days have this buddy system setup and they have to win a title with their buddies because it would be cooler

            Denver gets Brook
            Orlando gets Nene
            NJ gets Duhwight.

I may not like the Lakers to much but I dont think the commish should be aloud to interfere with trades made. If you make a bad trade then that should be the team that made the bad trade problem not get "helped" by the commish. Its just stupid imo.

Dwight most recent comments are enough to induct him into the "******* athlete" club. Saying he's hurt that people are so upset with his decision and that he wanted a part in team decisions.

The ego on these people. Jeeeeeeez.

                  You don't understand the issue.

The Hornets are owned by the NBA. The other owners can chime in when a trade involving the Hornets happens.

Dwight can stand for people not to like him. You can't request a trade out of Orlando and expect Magic fans to be thrilled about it. Once he accepts the fact that he can't please everybody, he should be fine.

Don't request a trade out and say I'm happy where I'm at. The **** doesn't add up.

It seems like that. Tonnes of pressure now on Andrew Bynum...he needs to become a beast. Not just good, but a beast.

I've thought for a few years that he "could" become the best center in the NBA. I think Dwight has limitations (no post game) and that Bynum could be better long term. I am not sure if he has the attitude though. If Howard doesn't go to LA, then we'll find out just how good Bynum can become over the next 24 months as he's going to be getting a LOT of touches on the block / no other option.

I've gone from liking Billups..........to not being able to stomach him at all. Cry me a freaking river man, you just got paid $16 million to do nothing.

“I’ m tired of being the good guy,” Billups told Yahoo! Sports by phone on Saturday afternoon. “I’m tired of being viewed as the guy. After a while, you just kind of get taken advantage of in these situations. I’ve been known as a leader, and I am a leader, but a leader can be as disruptive as he can be productive, especially when you carry a strong voice and people rally around you. This is about me now. This is about me, and teams should know that right now.”

As a Laker fan I think Bynum will be fine and the trade push is only heavy because... It's Dwight. Paul and Bynum can definitely be deadly, I just hate losing our ENTIRE depth at the 4 to do this. It makes most sense if postured in with Dwight but that's still a battle to be fought. As it stands id happily keep Bynum but the 4 situation frightens me

^^^exactly thats why I was hoping LA would get okafor. Now its like who will they play.at power foward. Bynum's offensive potential such as post move are pretty good. His defense isn't bad either. I think we will see him become pretty consistent without odom and gasol.

Okay...CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN The Magic signing J Rich for $25 million. WTF. I am speechless.

He was poor for them last season...he's old, he's lost his athleticism...he's basically a spot up shooter who needs a big man who can draw triple teams (won't have that) or a PG like Nash who can find him way open (won't have that).

He's basically no use.......yet they gave him $25.

Same GM who traded for Gilbert and Hedo's contracts.

                                No wonder Dwight wants out.
