    Shaq is an idiot.

Oh, and we'll see. It's a major risk that Deron is going to opt out.

As stated above me, D. West gone, CP3 has no chance of competing in NO whatsoever in his youth

Its a shame his talent was trumped by the fact that he needed more players beside him facing a team like LA in the playoffs... that would happen to them every single year

To make matters worse, LA will go way over the cap if they need to. They just got a 25 billion dollar tv deal from time warner

Thats a tv deal worth a small franchise in itself

        Whats wrong with Shaq?

...and didn't Rondo turn Steve Francis on the Celtics when they traded the real heart and soul (Perkins)?

CP3 is a definition for a floor general man whats up with him

At least Barkley knows his ****

WTF is Shaq talking about? Rondo is better than CP3? Paul never led Hornets to the playoffs?

This is why Shaq will never get a front office job. But he can't be no worse than Michael Jordan.

And again, we acknowledged that would be the case even when we first brought him in.

Still doesn't mean you don't take the chance. I'd rather have the chance of keeping him then not have the chance of getting him at all.

It still does not make sense, to me, though.

You take your chances with your young man that you just drafted and build the team that way then trying to go Knicks.

You better hope it works out or the franchise will be set back several years for you guys.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

Yup and then Chris Paul somehow winds up playing in a Knicks Uniform. Don't understand what about it doesn't make any sense but I'm not gonna bother beating that dead horse again lol

But who are people going to flock to see:

CP3, Melo, Amar'e playing in the Garden fresh off a playoff year or the Derrick Favors led Brooklyn Nets coming off of 4 straight years of suckiness in Hell aka New Jersey? Not a hard choice if you ask me lol.

And if he doesn't come back, we still have cap room in a BETTER FA Class and we still have our draft picks in a DEEPER Draft(which we'd still have if/when we don't get Duhwight so we can still build our team while being competitive). I'm not saying we're in a win/win situation because that'd be foolish to even consider because you don't get guys like Deron that easy or that often. But it definitely won't be the sky is falling all over again.

But again, there hasn't been not ONE indication from him that he wants to be anywhere else whereas Duhwight and CP3 have openly said they want to play somewhere else.

So the Lopez's are latest Hakeem pupils...wonder who is next? I don't think it would hurt KD to go. And i think Lebron already went but he should definitely go again.

                          SMH at Shaq.

This whole CP3 situation is partially why I can't get into the NBA...I hate how all these guys dictate where they will be traded to or will go and I hate that because of this, the same teams will be good each year and the same teams will be bad each year. What's wrong with playing in Orlando/Toronto/Brooklyn/Denver/San Francisco? Is the 6 miles between the Barclays Center and MSG seriously that much of a problem?

No one else wants to go there. Not only that, but in most of those areas the NFL reigns supreme (For Toronto/Canada that would be Hockey). You're just not going to see a lot of teams make enough money to be able to throw at desirable free agents nor would they have any sort of an enticing roster.

As for Chris Paul....he's tired of losing and he's tired of being stuck with having to carry the load by himself. He wants to go play with his buddies. We knew it was going to happen. He just publicly stated his intent.

A number of teams made calls to Crawford’s camp on Wednesday including the New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers, according to sources close to the situation.
