I'm a Lakers fan so forgive my bias but what is so wrong about Mike Brown? His offense in Cle was pathetic at times (nothing but pick and roll and too Lebron centric) but the guy won games, made it to the Finals and is a good defensive coach.

In LA, he has more offensive weapons then he ever did in Cleveland and should be able to expand his playcalling a little.

Apparently he did. Him and Bynum. Odom had no trade value last week but now he's the reason the Lakers will struggle.

His rotations are awful, his playcalling is non-existent, but the worst thing about him is that he is an enabler. He will cater to Kobe's every whim. He won't said what needs to be done. He won't hold everyone accountable.

We'll see, maybe he learned some things and he goes on to be one of the greatest coaches in NBA history. But from what I saw in Cleveland, I highly doubt that.

Agree about the playcalling but wasnt the enabling Gilbert's fault. From everything I've read, the call from on high was to keep Lebron happy no matter what.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

The Lakers were privately fuming Wednesday, according to a person with knowledge of their front office, when Paul, the New Orleans point guard, ended up in Los Angeles six days after the NBA vetoed the Lakers' trade for him.

Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak declined to comment through a spokesman but earlier this week said the NBA's blockade was "completely unexpected."

"We did the best we can to express our displeasure," Kupchak said Monday.

It's great to see the Clippers relevant again, but Stern did stick it to the Lakers.

                  No different than Avery Johnson.

Except now he's had the privelage of coaching 2 of the best players in the NBA and the only other Coach who could claim that title is the guy that he's replacing. Plus, once LA finishes among the tops in the West, then everybody will be right back on the "See, I always knew Mike Brown was a great HC".

Just wait til they get Duhwight and then everybody will be right back on their bandwagon again.
Well the signs are all there. It's December 15th and it's like 40-50 something degrees here in Chicago and hasn't snowed once yet. The Clippers are relevant, a relevant free agent has signed with Chicago two years in a row and there is that little thing about 2012 being the end of the world soooo...you never know lol.
