I don't think what you're describing is classlessness, but I can see why that would bother you.

I think its BS for any player to do that. Felt that way when Johnny Damon went to NYY, felt that way when Tom Glavine went to NYM, there are many instances of it and it's gross.

So stuff that nonsense about me. That's bull****.
Ahh gotcha, I was just making a poor assumption then, my bad.

      Like I said, no biggie.

I honestly thought you wrote that because he came to the Lakers and nothing more. I didn't even think of the rivalry angle, I hated him on those Portland teams and still hated him as a Celtic.

I guess I don't think that way so that's why I hadn't thought out that angle. I always hated Matt Barnes, but now he's a Laker and I have to deal with it lol. Now there is going to be two players I really couldn't stand on their team, damn.

LOL That's it? Because they traded for a High Schooler or did you hate Kobe while he was living in Italy? Serious question because I'm curious to know exactly where/when this hatred for him was formed.

                  I'm saying, why though?

If he played for the Charlotte Hornets, would you still hate him as much as you do today? And if yeah, then what exactly caused you to hate him so badly? I'm just trying to figure out how all of this sparked, you know lol.

Well, I thought the MJ comparisons were ridiculous.. The hype around that 98 all star game really upset me. We had the GOAT at possibly his last all star game and all their talking about is this Jordan wannabe who airballed shots against utah, I thought it was terrible, not to mention he was shaving his head bald and sticking his tongue out . Kobe himself isn't likeable so He's arrogant, a ballhog, a snitch, he always throws everyone under the bus except himself(EX: Trade bynum for kidd, Personal Trade request) and put him self in a OJ situation it's easy for me not to like him off the court, but on the court I don't like his game either, I feel he's a locker room cancer, He shoots his teams out of game, he quit against phx in game 7, his shot selection is horrid plus I feel like he's incredibly fake. He's a huge cry baby, crying for fouls, he flops! and not to mention when he flops he may hit you in the face(Jaric,Ginobli) He's a dirty player(ask mike miller).

So 98' Sparked the fire, and kobe himself has been adding lighter fluid to it ever since..

I'm not a Kobe fan personally but he gained respect from me when he didn't bat a lash when Barnes faked like he was throwing the ball in his face. Stood there like a boss.

He has SOME talent(which Lord knows we need)so it doesn't hurt.

Always wondered why he couldn't stick around in the League though, aside from the fact that he only has 9 fingers.

I mean the team has a bunch of stiff's at the three so its an upgrade, but then i think about "its Gerald Green". His basketball IQ was mediocre at best and got him shipped around the league. He's put up numbers in the D League though, so maybe he's finally found "it". Well it can't hurt when Deron's hitting you in stride cutting to the hoop.
