    LOL This guy:

When asked if he thought he also would need to move on to find the right fit, Williams said it does not matter if he thinks he should leave the Rockets because that is inevitable after he becomes a free agent next summer, if not sooner. “I’m going to leave regardless,” Williams said. “I’m not re-signing here. Come the end of the season, I won’t be back here regardless, so whether it is leaving now or leaving later, I’m not going to be here at the end of the day. It’s not for me to say (whether he leaves by the March 15 trade deadline or as a free agent.).
That’s for the guys that are supposedly in the office making decisions. Whatever.
“If they need me here, of course I’ll stay here for my team. It’s apparent that I’m not needed here at all.
Thanks for the 1st round pick, Houston.

You know at one time I was excited when the Nets drafted Terrence Williams...then I heard him open his mouth and prayed CDR got more playing time.

Then they both got traded. Thanks for the picks.

I never understood his love (coming out of college) I thought he was corny at Louisville.

Supposedly D-Rose is asking for the Bulls to make a trade for Pau

If it happens it would likely be Boozer and Watson for Pau

As if we don't have enough defensive problems already. Watson is a nice chip I suppose. Wouldn't pull the trigger on Lakers end.

Why would LA do that? That would be terrible for them. And I really like Watson from his GS days. Dude can light it up. But it's still a bad move for LA.

I was just reading how the Bobcats should make a move for Pau, but that it would have to involve a 3rd team.

Would be interesting, but it will never happen. I wouldn't want it to happen anyway, no point in renting a player in a season where you have no shot at playoffs...not to mention it would probably involve draft picks.

I highly doubt that Rose would request anything regarding trades. Guy refused to sell anybody on Chicago, I doubt he's in the FO barking for changes. However, I wouldn't mind that trade.

if that happens, the Lakers will definitely lose in the first round

Actually that could end up being a good deal for the Lakers, if you think about it.

One, you get rid of Gasol, not because Boozer is better, but because it's clear that there has been a sort of disconnect between him and the team this year, which I would imagine is from the trade negotiations that were going on prior to the season. Secondly, there really wouldn't be that big of a drop off between the two players, besides defensively. Boozer is a more pure scorer at the PF than Gasol and correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't your problem been in losses that you guys had trouble scoring? As the Bulls have shown, you can make up for one weak link on defense.

Secondly, you get a solid PG, that is better than the fossil you guys throw out there right now. Watson can create off the dribble, light up the scoreboard when he is hot, and can take pressure off Kobe by penetrating or just drawing the defense because they have to honor is scoring ability.

Thirdly, at the end of season, not only do you now have Watson as your PG, BUT you can use your amnesty clause on Boozer's contract, clear that cap space and have a more attractive destination for Howard to come AND you didn't have to forfeit Bynum to get him. Can you imagine a front court of Howard and Bynum? Omfg. Then, just go sign a swingman like Nick Young or someone who can stretch the floor outside of Kobe.

Don't think you can Amnesty players you traded for, only guys on roster prior to new CBA

Ahh, didn't know that was a rule in the clause. If so, scratch that lol

EDIT - Damn Drew you're right.

Teams will not be able to use the amnesty provision on a player acquired in a trade going forward.

However, can that stop teams from negotiating a player before he is amnestied, meaning the Lakers would have first dibs to claim him once he is free from his prior team? Probably not I'm guessing.
