Late to the Party. Congrats Lakers.

Wonder what happened to CP3 to the Celtics. I heard that was close yesterday, Rondo, Green, and Multiple 1st round picks seems like a good package. At least they tried though.

It is debatable, I just feel like right now CP3 and DWill set up their teammates better. I can't say the same for D.Rose. I'm not calling his passing and general floor abilities bad, just that it is not on the level of Nash, Kidd or the aforementioned two.

Of course D.Rose is more athletic and better at getting to the rim. And is still growing.

Ratings are pretty accurate reflections about who's watching so even if you aren't tracked (you are if you have a DVR), you still count. Those advertisers are still reaching you.

Rose is the better scorer, faster, younger, and quicker. His passing skills are getting better and his defense could be among the best in the NBA for PG's.

It will be interesting to see what big men the Lakers can pick up on the cheap.

Right now the Lakers are worse than last year. Went from having a big size advantage over nearly everyone to having only 1 non-terrible big man who's knees have about a 25% chance of making it through the season.

Even trading Bynum (and whatever) for Dwight leaves them with a bench full of D-league players. Lakers aren't winning anything this year. They'll need at least another offseason to sign enough complimentary players.

LA better pray that they can trade for Dwight somehow, because if not, this CP3 thing will be short-lived.

I actually think including Odom hurt their chances to get Bynum so you know LA didn't want to give him away if they didn't have to.
It's ridiculous that no one sees value in the Lakers' players. Pau Gasol is only one of the best in the post over the last 10 years. Lamar Odom has proven to be versatile off the bench and starting, can play the 3 and 4, can really do anything. Even if NO doesnt want to keep these guys, they will be able to trade them for solid value to get pieces they want.
