Looking at the Lakers' roster, maybe Andrew Goudelock, Darius Morris, of Ater Majok is going to the Hornets? Or a combo along with Andrew Bynum?

All three of those guys are rookies, and Majok is the oldest of the three, at 24.

I've always liked Morris when I saw him at Michigan, so maybe the Hornets are interested in him possibly replacing Paul for the near future?

Unless they get Oak, they wouldn't even have two bigs in the starting lineup.
May see Carl Landry going to the Lakers, especially if the Hornets are still getting Luis Scola. Scola would surely start and they did draft DaJuan Summers.

Or, maybe the Lakers are getting Trevor Ariza again??? This shall be interesting, but there's gonna be even more shock value than before.

I'm saying Bynum will go to the Hornet, Odom is out of the deal, Okafor comes back to the Lakers in the trade, some picks are added, maybe another young from the Lakers is included.

Howard's agent can talk to the Mavs too. I don't know if anything will come of it, but it'd be awesome.

We could ship JT, Haywood, Rudy Fernandez, future picks and the trade exception.

I highly doubt Dallas ends up with him. They'll grab Dalembert, which is a great fit in my mind.

I'd rather take Lopez and Nets picks, maybe a "filler" from the Nets than a JT, Haywood, Rudy package. I just don't see a lot to build from in that scenario. The picks wouldn't be as high of picks, the trade exception would be the big kicker.

I guess the trade exception, and cap room in the next couple of years?

People are assuming it's only Dallas dealing with Orlando for Howard....so they assume the Mavs don't have anything to offer.

But they don't know if Cuban is most likley already has a 3rd team in the mix if thinks he can land D.Howard this year.

He's had plenty of time to develope a trade partner with Orlando if Howard gave his agent the consent to speak with Dallas.

So on the surface it might appear that Dallas doesn't have more than LA or New Jersey to offer Orlando right now....but who's to say Cuban doesn't have that 3rd team lined up someone like Atlanta

Who's to say that huge $12 TE isn't enticing to a 3rd team and helps Dallas facilitate a trade for Howard?

Josh Smith is on the market right....Atlanta also needs a center to move Horford over to PF right.

Dallas has Haywood or that TE could be important for Atlanta in going after Dalembert or Kaman

So i wouldn't assume Dallas doesn't have anything so LA or New Jersey automatically wins.

I believe Haywood would go to a 3rd team not Orlando...

I also believe the deal with Orlando would include young prospects like Roddy B, Brewer and D.Jones + drafts picks and a key player from a 3rd team.

The biggest benefit for Dallas is they have the ability to involve a 3rd team and they can also absorb the contract of Hedo

They might not be the favorites to land Howard but they can get more creative then either New Jersey or LA right now because they can reach out to a 3rd team

I'm going to stop posting my opinions until something is final, because it keeps changing, lol. Then I'm going to have to let it marinate.

I was just getting used to the idea of keeping Martin (my favorite Rocket, I even bought his jersey) to pair with Gasol and not overpaying for another big, when I hear we are sending out the same pieces as before, lol.

                        Stop jerking me around Twitter!

This is my prediction of where the chips fall...

Same trade as before essentially, except the Lakers give up a pick and take back a "bad contract".

The "bad contract" is Jermaine O'Neal from the David West Sign and Trade, but O'Neal retires essentially giving them the free capspace anyways.

Nets lock in and overpay for NeNe, who they already have made a huge offer to.

The Rockets with their first choice gone, and having the capspace overpay for Dalembert (which in that case, you may as well keep Scola/K-Mart).

The Lakers with caproom and the Nets out of the picture sign D12.

                                OS explodes.
