Are the Kings that inept as far as the front office goes? If we're talking strictly hypothetical and Dwight would re-sign there, why wouldn't they do that? You get that guy and then worry about stuff like that afterwards.Comment

Yeah, but Bynum is a "potential" top 2 center for the next 5 years...maybe even the best if he gets it mentally.
Lopez is kind of a "top 10 center, but someone else just as good will come along soon enough" type guy...good, but not worth gambling your team's future on.
If you're going to gamble on someone with a history of injury, you gamble on Bynum...his ceiling is much, much higher IMO.Comment

Just calling it like it is...Lopez has been on the table for ages now with Jersey begging Orlando to take him. They didn't want him before this, so there's no way they'll want him after this.
Reality is his trade value just plummeted massively. I am just being realistic.Comment

Now that Brook is injured... they'll be in rebuild mode anyway, and neither one of those guys would be leading that team too far. I wouldn't build around either of them...Comment

Pau Gasol?
That would be like Tiger Woods browbeating Kobe for infidelity.
