McGee likely won't be around after this season.

Gallo has the potential to be a top-level player and Lawson continues to develop an outside shot. Combine that with his speed and he's got the potential to be one of the best point guards in the NBA in the next 2-3 years. Chandler gives you nice flexibility off the bench and bench scoring.

Ty Lawson and Gallinari are the future for the Nuggets. When Gallo's healthy, he's the Nuggets' best player, imo, with Lawson right behind him.
How does Javale McGee help the Nuggets? In any way shape or form?

If I was a season ticket her for the Nuggets.. I'd be pissed right about now!

      Same for the Nets.

At least Portland completely cleared house.

These other teams want to give the appearance of giving a ****.

Javale wont be there next year unless he takes a cheap deal. Its a salary dump. Its not hard to see that. Nene was paid like a Top 5 center but he wasnt playing like one.

They arent trying to win this year. Now they have plenty of cap room available to make moves the next few seasons.

Either you purposely choose to ignore/not listen to what people are saying or you continue to twist peoples words around.

Please tell me, who in here said anything like that?

                    Go on, I'll wait...

I'll concede that yes, the McGee trade does not help the Nuggets THIS YEAR.

But, it's pretty clear that the Nuggets made this move with an eye towards the future. They would rather build around the core of Lawson-Gallinari-Chandler, than keep Nene around for another 4 years.

I liked Nene, and don't like that McGee is now a Nugget, but as long as they let him walk at the end of the year, I'll be OK.

He's obviously talking about the Lakers dumping Derek Fisher and how that represents how the owners arent loyal to players while players are expected to be loyal to teams and fans.
