Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I don't even like Barnes.
But Waiters at #4 is beyond reaching. His agent needs a raise propping up Waiters' stock with that guarantee.
Waiters and Zeller is not a bad draft by any means.
But I think you'll regret either/both not trading up for Beal and passing on Barnes.

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Lucas, it takes two to tango. You cannot say "I want to trade back" and then it magically happens. Gotta have a dance partner. And you have to make sure you still get that guy you want.
I just hope the Cavs are right. This pick is a "I'm smarter than everyone in the room" type pick. I hope Grant is right here. He's been a part of the only organizations to take a player in the lotto who hasn't started for his team *Marvin Williams and now Dion Waiters*Too Old To Game Club

I understand OSU, but do you think the cavs panicked? Also can I get your opinion on the Thompson pick last year?Comment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
All I'm saying is just because some team makes a "promise"(which we ALL know are useless because they don't mean crap)to you doesn't mean you should think that's what will happen. Always prepare for the worst case scenario unless you're a clear cut number 1 pick.
He's not the first or last player that's had that happen to him.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
Last year, I was happy with the Thompson pick. I thought we got, and still have, a legit shot blocking PF with out of this world athletic ability. If he can have any post moves or even develop a short jumper, he's going to be a beast. He can rebound like crazy and has more growing to do. I cannot wait to see him next year.Too Old To Game Club

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Discussion
I think the Cavs were prepared for it and said "Let's take our shot." I can respect them taking a shot at Waiters rather than taking the safe pick with Barnes.

Edit: Or can be fast paced depending on if you guys move V-Jo for a more solid two. I don't know if Waiters can start.Comment

ClutchFans.net @clutchfans
Source confirms the "minor move" by the Rockets was for the 53rd pick of the draft, Turkish power forward Furkan Aldemir.
What is the plan here?Comment
