God I hope so. In the low post he just looked terrified and out of place. Was painful to watch this year -_-.

Kyrie was clearly the #1 pick last year no matter what. His only draw back was he played less games than everyone else, but no one in the 2011 draft class even came close to dominating the college game like Kyrie did.

      Anyway:

Kyrie was obviously the right choice and I was one the Kyrie train last year when people wanted the Cavs to take D-Will. I'm just saying the Front Office was really hung up on Barnes. If Barnes would have went out, no doubt the Cavs would have selected him first.

Barnes has gone to me from hell no to ehhh.

If either MKG or Beal are there and they pass on one of them for Barnes, then I'll be pissed. If neither are there, he's probably the best option, especially because of his fit next to Kyrie.

Thankfully, I think the Cavaliers agree with me.

Ernie said, he won't let MKG fall pass 3..so looks like if the Bobcats dont' draft MKG he will be a Wizard...So that means we have to look through free agency for a 2 guard, unless we trade to get another pick in the 1st..maybe one of our 2nds and a player or something..

What if that scenario plays out with MKG and Beal both being off the board before the #4 pick, and they instead look at Thomas Robinson over Barnes?

I know Tristan was just drafted last year but if you think he's going to be a better player than Barnes then you have to take him, no?

I admit I am completely biased in saying this, but even objectively I think that Darius Miller would be a good 2nd round pick for Washington. He would be bring a team player attitude and is truly very very skilled. He just doesn't have the mentality to be a star. But he can shoot, post up, drive and hit floaters. Plus he would bring even more fanfare to Washington (especially if MKG gets picked by them) from a large UK fan base. Not to mention the chemistry he could bring since he played with both Wall and MLK on separate teams and has known Mack for a very long time.

I have absolutely no interest in drafting Thomas Robinson at 4 for multiple reasons.

                    1) He and Tristan play the same spot.

                    2) I don't see elite potential in Robinson

                    3) The team needs a wing in the worst way

                    4) Barnes provides both offensive and defensive abilities that Robinson does not have.

                    5) Barnes and Kyrie are, apparently, very good friends.

Will he be there in the second though? I thought I saw someplace that he was moving up and could be a late 1st.

anyone know anything about Moe Harkless? most of the mocks have the Celtics picking him.

Sounds like everyone is sleeping on Barnes now. He went from overrated to underrated pretty quickly. I'd gladly take him anywhere in the top 5. The only guys I'd consider putting above him are Davis, MKG, and Beal, and I don't think those last two are clearly the better choice.

I don't think anyone is sleeping on Barnes. I think the better term is scared off.

We can't do anything about the hype the kid received. But to say he's underrated is not quite fair. He did not perform like the best player in college night in and night out. He seemed to coast.

T-Rob had more fire and fight than Barnes. And we're hearing more news about Barnes than T-Rob right now.

I think Barnes will be a decent pro. I just don't know if he will ever put it all together.

It's the same situation with Jeremy Lamb. I thought coming into this year, Lamb would be a POY candidate. I think he'll be a good pro. But guys like Barnes and Lamb need coaches that will light a fire under them.

Not sure if he gets past Orlando.

If Kendall Marshall slips out of the lottery...Orlando grabs him as they need a PG. But if he's gone...I think they go with Harkless.

He's been working out in Orlando so they've had alot of chances to see him already.
