Anybody know where this Meyers Leonard hype is coming from? Been seeing alot of mock drafts and scouts saying/thinking he could go in the Top 10. How was he at Illinois?

My friend from Illinois has seen a ton of Meyer Leonard. He said he is talented but that if he gets drafted to a team that needs him to start now, it could be a bad fit.

This Wiz kids trade for Ariza and Okafor. Hornets get Rashard Lewis and the #46 pick. Well I think that all but squashes the Cavs hopes of getting #10. Well balls.

Cavs get their man, MKG(assuming that's who they want).

I hate to say it (and would really hate to see it) but I won't believe the Wizards wouldn't take him anyway until I see it. It's not like they didn't try to run with 3 guys that should all be playing the same position before (Sheed, Juwan, and Webber... could throw Ben Wallace in there too if you wanna stretch it but at least he knew how to play center).

He had a great combine. Measured out as the tallest player in the draft and is also quick enough to beat a lot of bigs down the floor. Supposedly has everything you need to develop into a great center, but doesn't really have the skills yet.

Here's a video that breaks him down:

                    MKG...Cavs?

I see no reason why the Bobcats don't draft MKG. He fits into the style that I assume the new coach will want to play.

I'm going to sound like a moron, but I think MKG is not worthy of a top pick. My top picks are (in terms of potential stars in the making):

                      1. Andre Drummod
                      2. Bradley Beal
                      3. Anthony Davis
                      4. Damian Lillard

I just don't know about MKG, there's something about him.

What have you seen from Andre Drummond to believe he is a star in the making?

I haven't really been following the draft workouts and stuff, but is that who they are looking to draft at #2? If that's the case they should just trade back and get 2 people that could help them instead of just Barnes.

That something about him is called "Winner"

But I have to say, if you think Drummond should be #1 then...ahhh forget it. Maybe if Drummond could have come out from high school he would have had a shot.

I'm pretty sure their guy was Beal. That's who I've seen most have wanted. I think they will settle for anything but Barnes at this point.

I think thosed guys are the top 5 with Perry Jones,Jared Sullinger,Brad Beal and Thomas Robinson next or either could be in the #4 or #5 spot. One through three is locked up i think
I can seriously see CLE taking brad beal with that 4 spot. brad beal is either gonna be a MAJOR superstar or a huge let down. great shooter, athletic, can play point, sounds pretty legit to me. he'll be the best pick in this draft.
