      Settling for Barnes?

      Really?

And to give up all those picks and just stock the Mavs bench was a panic move.

And this will explain it all.

About that 1st round guarantee that Kevin Jones got..................

Kevin Jones learned a valuable lesson tonight. You don't pick your older brother to be your agent. Hopefully not too late for him.

Sacre is soft and isn't a good pick for LA even at 60. If you're going to go big, get Henry Sims or Kevin Jones. Jones isn't 7', but he can bang in the paint as evidenced by his rebounding average.

IMO Zeller saved CLE draft, that was a great pick. They gave up a bunch to get him though.

Give Waiters some time. He was supposed to go Top 7, lets not act like he's a scrub.

Yea, I definitely didn't like that pick at all, but what do I know.

For his size, his reb's per 40 min pace looks pretty brutal. But I don't know a damn thing about him other than what I've read a few places, none of it complimentary.

I'd rather have a guy who can create his own shot but is a streaky shooter than a shooter who cannot create his own shot.

In a perfect world, Barnes would play the 3 with Kyrie and Waiters.

And I don't care if we stocked the Mavs bench. We got a legit, 7 foot center with offensive skills. He enters the NBA better than half the centers.

That's a damn shame, as in shame on him for picking his older brother lmao.

San Antonio sure loves guys that are too small to play the 2 and too ****ty to run the point.

I think Waiters could surprise some people:

                        <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JVm57uNFwfw?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JVm57uNFwfw?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

His jumper is slow but it looks good.

He went #4 in a very deep draft, their is obviously something about him that makes him special

Maybe he shouldn't believe everything that comes out about him either.

Not blaming him or anything, but these dudes gotta known that around this time, there are always going to be people who tell them what they want to hear instead of what could actually happen.

But I think he'll end up on someone's Summer League Roster though because he can play.

                            I don't even like Barnes.

But Waiters at #4 is beyond reaching. His agent needs a raise propping up Waiters' stock with that guarantee.

Waiters and Zeller is not a bad draft by any means.

But I think you'll regret either/both not trading up for Beal and passing on Barnes.

The Bobcats were asking for two first rounders, a legit NBA player and for the other team to take on a salary.

I'll take my chances with Waiters rather than giving away the farm for Beal. Would have loved to have him. The bigger tragedy for me today was when MKG went 2. After that, I was resigned to a bad pick at 4. Hopefully Waiters can beat him out.

And again, I hate Barnes. I think he'll be a better version of Bruce Bowen.
