Re: Jeremy Lin
He's definitely the real the deal, his court vision and pick and roll decision making is stellar. That sort of thing is not a fluke. That's the beauty of the pick and roll, there's no way to stop it - you just have to read it properly each time and Lin is darn good at it.
And the Kings are f'n awful defensively. LOL @ them putting Outlaw on him though, that did not end well. So much for the "we'll stick bigger guys on him" strategy."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Jeremy Lin
matrix thats hilarious and it made me realize yesterday while i was watching nba tv they showed the highlights from the raptors game an spent a few minutes talking about it an then moved on, meanwhile sportscenter which is supposed to cover all sports talked about lin exclusively for like 15 minutes straight smh, and then replied that same segment to more times over the next hour hahahaComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
I admit I watch it still, but only for 10 minutes at most.
I was just thinking about how I would sit there and watch SC from like 7 AM-11 AM, the same entire damn episdode just on repeat! Oh how things change. Smh.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
look if you put an elite defender on lin im positive that he wont be putting up the scoring numbers.. and if you doubt the truth of that statement just ask derrick rose how he felt with lebron draped all over his *** in last years ecf'sComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
I'm fine with a team putting their elite defender on him, I'll take a team's B defender on Carmelo every night while Lin passes all night."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Jeremy Lin
very good point.. but an honest question, can you tell me what lins flaws are? cause from the way people have been talking he doesnt seem to have ANY and thats why less than 10 games just isnt enough to form a complete picture of who he is.. i did hear doug gottlieb say today that he goes right about 75% of the time so itll be interesting to see how he counters once the D starts to sit on his right an force him leftComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
Personally, the more I watch Lin play, the less concerned I become about Melo fitting in. I think letting Melo run some iso's and giving Lin a breather while he's on the court and not relying on him for offense every single possession will only be a good thing. Plus, being able to hit Melo for open jumpers wont hurt (I know its not Melos forte, but if its there its there).
But at the same time, I'm becoming less enthusiastic about Stat out there.
He just seems unnecessary with Lin and Chandler working the PNR so well. He's just been clogging up the lanes and giving Lin less room to work on the drive.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
Gottlieb is a professional nitpicker, he spends most of his time trashing 18 & 19 year old college kids. He's a douche.
Lin has weaknesses of course but none that will make him fall back down to a 12th man on the bench."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
