If anything even remotely like that happens New York will run Melo out on a rail. We'll see how how they work it out.

Like I said, how uncomfortable is Melo going to be feeling his first game back right about now.

Again, players like him have come and gone. The only difference is they weren't Asian and all of them didn't play in NY.

Every Melo mistake will be x10 under the microscope for the NY crowd.

Amare will thrive with a legit point guard. I don't like to really slam guys, but Toney Douglas is THE WORST point guard I've ever seen play long mins in the NBA. It's not just Lin coming in that has changed the Knicks, but Douglas going out.

Melo obviously likes ISO plays and no one else on the roster does...not sure how that will mix long term now they have a passing point guard who can find guys who are open. If Melo ISOs, no one else moves.

Probably similar to when AI came to town in Denver..."But I AM the star!" We all know how that worked out...

He's getting paid to chat with Melo on the sideline while watching games point blank.

I was trying to avoid that but thanks anyway. If Melo can push his ego aside they can be pretty damn good. Amare and Tyson on the pick and pop/roll can be deadly with Lin's basketball IQ and with teams crashing on Tyson and Lin, Lin can dish it out to Melo for an easy shot. The key to that working is Melo allowing Lin to make his own decisions. Once Melos starts complaining and calling for iso's the team will crumble.

You're high, bro. This must've been the first knicks game you watched and just assume melo is the reason we had been losing.

The offense was run through melo because that's what dantoni was running. We didn't have a pg.

We now have a pg who can see the court and demands attention. Look at what he's doing with our sub par players.

Now Lin can pick and roll and when he drives if it's not there you got melo on the wing.

New York run melo out of the city? For what? 4 games from Lin? i'm not hating, i love the knicks, supported them for 25 years, but I am not going to tell melo to hit the road when i've seen a kid blast teams for four home games (was is a home game for the knicks don't kid yourself.)

The kids a beast from what we've seen, but stop acting like melo will ruin it. Dantoni finally has a pg he can rely on, who can now catch a break when stat and melo are back and lin doesn't have to play the minutes he is now cus he wont last long at this rate.

Before lin everything was pretty much iso for every player. Douglas and Shump didn't know how to create and feed.

Whatever though, everyone got their opinions! Just glad we're finally winning.

its early but The Linja (yeah i went there) a true point guard has the Knicks heading in the right direction now. Interesting to see if it lasts, especially when Melo is back on the floor.
