I don't agree with that at all. The Mavs won the championship last year. I'm not sure how losing to the Sixers makes any Bulls fan feel better about anything because Dallas got swept. In fact I'd be much more content with getting swept if my team had won the championship the year before. No silver lining here.

Rajon Rondo looming as threat to Heat's title run
BOSTON – One year later, the Miami Heat’s most troublesome threat in the Eastern Conference has never been so determined to deliver LeBron James and Dwyane Wade the cruelest of losses. Privately, Rajon Rondo has never stopped thinking about redemption. Three hundred sixty-five days ago, Rondo lay on his back, the pain shooting out of a dislocated elbow, and listened to Kevin Garnett screaming to him on the Boston Garden floor, “Breathe! … Breathe!” His elbow was out, the season was shot.
What everyone witnessed – the doctor jamming that left elbow back into its socket and Rondo turning a six-week regular-season injury into a six-minute playoff detour -– goes down into Celtics lore. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge called it the most amazing thing he’d ever witnessed with an athlete. Coach Doc Rivers called it “beyond courageous.” Rondo returned in that Game 3, beat the Heat with one arm and, yet, ultimately, had to be forced to sit out the night the Celtics were eliminated.
One year later on Sunday night, outside his Boston Garden office, Rivers was asked: Do you still wonder what would’ve happened had Rondo never gone down in the Miami series?
“Yeah, I do,” Rivers told Yahoo! Sports.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

That was truly incredible. I couldn't believe he actually played with one arm.
This is moot unless the Celtics can get past the Hawks and Sixers."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
I can't wait to see the officiating now that Baby Bron is back home. The refs did a total 180 on him in the two games in NY. Now he'll get every single touch call again and shoot 30 FT's tomorrow in the clincher. Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
The biggest threat to the heat not winning a title is spoelstra. He is showing similiar patterns of last year. You can get away with that imcompetence in the early rounds but against the spurs, thunder, and maybe even the celtics you cant afford to just give away games.Comment

Nah, Spo can do no wrong apparantly....lol
The Celtics will be a huge hurdle though...they look focused...
The Heat are a bad matchup with pretty much anyone that is thought to come out of the West as well...
They have more to worry about than their coach, but he's certainly apart of it...Comment

Yeah, I was agreeing with you vb...
My first sentence was sarcasm...because a lot of times when this is said its viewed as a "built in excuse for MIA to lose" or that its simply piling in the guy....he's just not the right coach for the talent he has IMO...
EDIT: This is my first time reading this, but it's pretty telling

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
But hey, if you want to believe that Pierce is the most underrated player of this generation because he doesn't get enough love from the fans then go ahead. You'd be wrong but you can believe that if you want lol#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Since people are so intent on the solution for the Bulls, let's get a whole solution and not a partial. Once Boozer is gone, you plan on moving Taj to the starting position. Cool. Who you signing to back him up? Cause if you plan on just picking up any old 4 out there, you might as well keep Boozer cause it's the same problem just a different guy starting.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs Discussion Thread 1st Round
Doing what's best for the team isn't committing yourself to paying Boozer his salary to go play for another team. Even with Boozer gone, the Bulls are still in luxury tax territory and it doesn't make sense to be over the cap paying those penalties and paying Boozer's *** to stink up the joint for some other team.

He was the other person drafted with Jimmy Butler last year. Ring any bells? Ok, go to google.Comment

I'm fully aware of Mirotic, but I didn't think anybody was insane enough to think it's cool to drop Boozer, pay his salary and depend on a overseas guy to play heavy minutes as backup 4.Comment
