Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
Looks like Russ had two decent games and one stellar game against SA
He's going to be the reason OKC wins or loses the series. I could say that about the remainder of OKC's matchups as well.
The way the team is constructed... winning or losing is going to be up to how Russell plays and what types of decisions he makes.Comment

Pulling for OKC. Their my favorite team outside of LA, and SA is my least favorite team.
But sadly, I believe SA will take it.

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
Nice to see the predictable conference finals matchup come to reality.
After watching the first two rounds, it'd be easy to switch my initial pick from OKC to SA, but OKC has showed me something with maintaining their composure in crunch time against two damn solid teams in Dallas and LA. Hopefully Scott Brooks finally gets some damn credit but he probably won't. Oh well.
Not taking anything away from SA and who they were matched up with earlier, but OKC proved to me that they may be riper than people think. SA did what they were expected to do and dismantled undermanned Utah and LAC teams.. but did so in impressive fashion. When healthy they look to be unbeatable. They too maintained their composure when they got down against the Clippers on multiple occasions. LAC was just so banged up though...
They matchup fairly even across the board and neither team really has a clear advantage in my eyes.
If it goes less than 6 games I'd be shocked, barring injury.
not saying Brooks is a bad coach or anything. he is good."on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

Spurs in 7, KD will single handedly win 2 games for them since he's got 4 inches on every Spurs small forward. But OKC has no bench outside of Harden, so advantage SA.
Also, Matt Bonner on the perimeter takes Ibaka out of the paint = less rebounds for him = more offensive rebound opportunities for Duncan/Splitter.
Anyway, I've got the Spurs winning in 6 or 7. The Spurs bench, which struggled against the speed and quickness of the Clippers' bench, should bounce back from a poor last series. They need good contributions from Neal, Jackson, Splitter and Ginobili to off-set the scoring trio of the Thunder. I expect to see Danny Green defending Westbrook early and often, while Leonard will need to just make Durant work for his baskets. Timmy and Boris need to win their match-up against Ibaka and Perkins. Tony needs to play similar to his regular season perfomance against the Thunder, while Matt Bonner needs to stay out of the way. One interesting wrinkle that Brooks might use is playing Thabo, who's size and length bothers Tony, on TP to start the game. Should be a great matchup.

I doubt Timmy calls it quits whether they win another LOB or not. He's said that he'll play until "the wheels fall off" and they look like they still have some tread. He and Garnett look like they can both play 2 more seasons in the right situation.

Re: WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS
I want this to be 7 games but I think Spurs in 5. I can't really explain why I think 5 and not 6 or 7."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman
