With either Smith or Millsap, who the Nets are thinking about as well, the team wants assurances of signing long term with them. part of why I don't think Josh Smith trade is going to happen. I don't think the Nets want another max in the books. Maybe if Crash is delt somewhere as well to free money but that's a long shot.

The trade you mentioned already works in ESPN's trade machine, so I tried throwing something in with Dallas. Had the Nets getting Josh Smith and Roddy Beaubois, the Hawks getting Humphries, Teletovic, Vince Carter and a first rounder from the Nets and the Mavs getting Marshon Brooks, Anthony Tolliver and Anthony Morrow.
The Mavs aren't likely to do that if it meant parting with Carter and I don't know how much they value Brooks, but it just seemed interesting to me. I also don't know how much the Hawks value Tolliver and Morrow.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Seems like not too long ago BKs reluctance to let go of Brooks was holding up acquiring Dwight
Now dude can't get off the bench...Comment

Lakers I could see wanting Bargnani. Cause if Pau is out for another month at least, since they're gonna get rid of him anyways, might as well get rid of him around now, and get a guy on their team who can help them in their playoff push. And a guy like Bagnani on Lakers could open up more scoring opportunities cause if opponents are guarding Kobe alot, they'd have Bargnani as a shooter as well who could get alot more open chances.
I wonder if Raptors-Hawks could pull off a deal for Josh Smith. I know Smith will be a UFA at end of season, but maybe they could do a deal. Bargnani,Gray(added for salary reason) for Josh Smith. With a conditional pick involved. Something like Raptors getting a 2014 first round pick from Hawks if Smith doesn't resign with Raptors. And Hawks getting 2014 first round pick if Smith does resign with Raptors.Comment

I really don't get it. He has obvious talent, especially offensively, the knock on him is his defense, but he's not gonna become a better defender if he's rotting away on the bench, practice and shootaround aren't gonna do much for that part of your game.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

The complains been recently MarShon has just resorted to chucking way more than last year an his court awareness seems to have taken a step back. I'm still all for Marshon staying and getting PT along with the other young players but both AVRRAH and now PJ would rather go with veterans.
I think his biggest problem is he's always looking over his shoulder seeing if one mistake gets him pulled for the night. No one can play good with that hanging over them.

Apparently, the Suns are interested in acquiring Al Jefferson and Gordon Hayward from Utah.
I honestly don't see any way that this can happen. Utah's front office is probably crying because they're laughing so hard.
I mean... who would Phoenix trade to us? Beasley?Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

We need to keep our young players, like Favors, Kanter, Hayward, and Burks, while we get the most we can for guys like Jefferson and Millsap.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Unless you're talking about the San Antonio Spurs, never, ever underestimate the stupidity of an NBA owner. The Grizzlies just screwed around with a legit championship contender before they needed to for no real reason other than to save a buck and you don't think it's possible for the Suns to get Utah to bite on a deal for Al and/or Hayward?Comment
