There had been rumors that the Celtics were interested in Gortat and the Suns wanted Bradley in return. I think the Celtics were only willing to give up Courtney Lee, though.

What's the deal with Courtney Lee? Why can't he seem to stick anywhere? Seems to be a solid rotation player, fills needs with shooting and defense, is athletic, doesn't seem like a knucklehead. That contract isn't bad, there are worse players making much more. I don't get it, am I missing something?

I agree with this.. I've always liked Courtney, I really wish Orlando would've kept him. That Finals team they had was a pretty decent roster for what the system was...

Bradley's not going anywhere nor should he.

And those Courtney Lee rumors were a while ago when he was playing awful, he's played great lately thus haven't heard much rumors since.

I'm guessing your from Chicago and your a Bulls fan. May I ask why you'd want a swap of Bargnani for Boozer ? (I'm not mocking you or anything....I want a Bulls fan point of view on this.)

Basically it boils down to just getting rid of Boozers contract.

Just don't see it as worth it. Dude is shooting a worse percentage than Boozer, plays about the same defense, is under contract for the same amount of time and even if you factor out Belinelli, Hamilton, Nate, Nazir, Vlad and Cook's deals and add in Bargs, the Bulls cap number for next year is around 68.9 million as opposed to the 73.2 with Boozer.

Again, all for trading Boozer, but not for this deal.

If it was about "just getting rid of Boozer's contract" then we would just amnesty him and cut the losses.

Trading for Bargs locks us in to that 12 million instead of allowing us to shed 17 in 2014. This also pretty much makes it a foregone conclusion that Deng will be retained under Bird Rights, because the flexibility we would have had to amnesty Boozer and make a big splash in FA will have been severely hampered. (Whether we sign anyone is another story, but we won't know with Bargs on the roster)

Trade makes no sense for Chicago. Especially given the current situation of this team and the fact we've played all year without our best player. Our best basketball with this roster is still ahead of us.

Oh..ok. Your just looking for a salary dump. If the Raps were in striking range of the 8th seed. I could see this deal some what making sense.....but I just don't see it at this point in time.
