Oh, I just read the article. There's no indication that NY is looking to deal him, but PHX seems hellbent on getting Shump.

I'd like to see him in Utah w/ Heywood at the 3.

Or maybe....In Brooklyn and let Joe Johnson get back to the 3, even though they havent let Mashon Brooks get loose.
I could dig a Utah lineup with Williams, Hayward, Carroll, Millsap/Favors, Jefferson/Kanter, with Reddick coming off the bench

Shump is good but not near Bradley's or Allen level defensively IMO. also less offensive upside.

It's decent trade IMO, Dudley is a solid piece but I get why NY would say no.

Knick fans bloat Shumpert's game. He's tradable.

I'd prefer to see Brewer get dangled though.

              No one wants Brewer.

As a Knicks fan you shouldnt be shocked if it were to happen. We're talking about the KNICKS.

As good as Shumpert is, he's definitely overrated.

If the Knicks traded Shump i'd lose all hope with management. And to the guy saying Shump is overrated what are you basing that off of ? Hes just considered a good perimeter defender which he is. He has potential to be better all around because of his athletic ability.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

If I heard rumors correct...the Bargnani-Boozer deal has already been offered by Bulls, and Raptors just put it on hold until they see what happens with a Gasol deal?

So I guess that means that no matter what, Bargnani is gone from Toronto within next 2 weeks.

It'd also mean DeRozan/Amir will be longest tenured Raptors(at 4 seasons each)

Not sure how to react. Dudley is a good player who can stretch the defense with his 3 point shot. He also plays good defense

As for Shumpert, I love the intensity he brings to the game. Before blowing out his knee he was our best perimeter defender and 1 of the better perimeter defenders in the league as a rookie

So far since he's returned from his injury he just hasn't looked comfortable on the court. I know it takes time to recover from a ACL, but he hasn't looked good out there.

The 1 thing in his favor is the coach lives him, so I can see him not going any where, but who knows

Like I said, I think the main thing is his upside...

He's played what? 70ish games total?...I don't think I can throw him into the upper echelon of defenders quite yet....but I do love his heart on the court..

I'm basing that off of Knicks fans acting like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I honestly see him as a Tony Allen guy, except with a little better of a jumpshot. Both guys are extremely athletic, intense on defense, but nothing special offensively.

But again, he's overrated because people have only watched him play for what, 70 games? And they're already calling him a future all-star.

I get it, he has potential, but really, who doesn't? Xavier Henry has "potential." Johnny Flynn had "potential." Well, Shump has the potential to end up just like those guys too.

I'm not saying he's not going to be an all-star. I mean, anything can happen. But I just don't see him as an offensive force. People act like it's easy to develop a 3 point shot.

Not sure what knick fans you speak of. I know you ain't talking about the knick fans who are OS members.

Knick fans on OS value Shumpert for what he is: a high energy, very good on the ball defender. Offensively he is what he is & we know that.

No one on OS is making him out to be nothing other that

I'd rather have Avery Bradley than Shumpert. Shump is alright though.
