Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
We're talking about rumors this early in the season. Norris Coles has improved every year he been on the team. Why trade a player that fits in your system (as defensive point guard/spot-up shooter)? For some old guys. Didn't they just pick up his option for next year already? You know why? Just in case Mario Chalmers leaves for more money some where else. They will get him at bargain for next year.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Jazz waive PG Jamaal Tinsley. That leaves Utah with 1 active point guard (John Lucas III) and 14 players total.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

They need to bring somebody in.
In other news, the Pelicans waived Lance Thomas and Arinze Onuaku and signed Lou Amundson and Josh ChildressLink to my NBA 2K13 2010-2011 Roster:

I knew Amundson wouldn't be a free agent for very longer. Guys like him will always have a spot on a roster somewhere.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
I was curious about that a few days ago so I Googled him. Once the Mavs didn't give him an offer, he became a free agent. The next news on him is the Sixers considering bringing him in at the beginning of September and then the Heat wanting to bring him in for an audition at the end of September but he had a wrist injury. I haven't seen anything about him signing with anyone in Europe either.
There's a few teams that could try him out really. The Lakers could give him a shot with Nash's injury issues.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I personally love Beaubois. One of my favorite players in the league actually.
I'd be ecstatic if we were to bring him in. I think he'd be a nice fit, with Hayward in more of a point forward role, Roddy could focus on filling it up.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Seems like the biggest problem for the Jazz are TO's. I don't see Roddy Buckets him helping much in the TO department. However anybody that can knock down shot at the PG spot is a huge step forward. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Don't think it'll be popular with Knicks fans, but I've been saying all year that they should trade Shump, and they do need a big man. That frontcourt is real poor offensively once Chandler comes back though lol.
Not to mention, can they afford Faried?
They still need a new PG IMO too.NFL: Bills

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
I would hate the trade, you can't play Faried and Chandler together. And I'll take the perimeter defender who can hit 3's over a rebound/hustle guy any day.
Frank Isola is the one reporting this though so I think there's a better chance it's bad info or trolling than it actually happening.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
