Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
its extremely early in the season to be grading individual defense but...
bosh is 21st best post up defender (probably much higher if u take out guys who barely make the required minimum defenses)
he doesnt qualify rank wise for any other type of defense but is the 22nd overall best defender for qualifiers at .68 PPPComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Dood Shumpert for Perk or Collison and a pick would be STUPID. It would be way better if they got Waiters or Marcus Thornton for Shumpert.NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters -- NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters (PS3)Comment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
For a team that prides itself of drafting and developing its own talent, it doesn't seem like OKC to just give up a 1st rd pick, especially in this year's Draft if it's as good and deep as everyone suggests.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Melo is untradeable because he is the best player on team.
JR Smith is horrible
Amare is horrible and has horrible contract.
Barg is kind of improving
Felton is doing bad
Only shumpert is tradeable, but he's not that good.
Chandler has big contractNBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters -- NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters (PS3)Comment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
nah man, they are tanking for denver to get faried ^^ CONSPIRACIES!
not a single person on the knicks is un-tradable, especially for being "the best player"
JR smth isnt horrible, hes just not consistnent, amare isnt horrible, hes old and his knees are wrecked and someone will want his expiring next year. bargs is meh, felton is meh, shumpert is a good defender and can hit 3's when hes got his mind right, chandler would be sought after by alot of teams missing a center to compete.....take the bias out of it manComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
It's a great draft, but I don't think a 20-30 pick has more value than Shumpert and getting rid of a contract."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
They can get rid of a contract without making any trades though.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Regardless, it doesn't matter. I would take Shumpert over where I figure OKC ends up (25-30). I don't think there's ever been a draft class so loaded you've been *likely* to find Shumpert-level guys that far back."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
they can amnesty perk over the summer i believe.
the more i think about it the less this trade makes sense for OKC.
they already have a shumpert type player in sefolosha...just need to trade out perks minutes to steven adams and PJ3Comment
