I don't think I could ever look at the Clippers seriously. I'm not really sure why either. Maybe because they've been a joke for so many years. Maybe because they've never really played well in the playoffs. Idk. I just don't see them as any kind of threat.

It's probably just due to their history that makes it harder for people to think of them as a serious team. I wish they also changed their logo too, cause it's one of the logos in NBA I want changed the most.

Lots of injuries this year and a couple of bums on the bench like Dudley and Hollins, even Turk and Jamison and Mullens...just too many bums

Crawford out tonight and you see they have to play collison at SG and bring in Dudley... thats a sucky plug in, so Granger and Barnes are a much better combo than Dudley and Barnes

I cosign on Granger to clippers.

I even think the clippers have a legit shot at the WCF. Blake's game has improved/matured and so has the chemistry in this team. Doc Rivers is doing a great job . Paul/Collison duo is great so is Reddick(return?)/ Crawford. Less pressure would be on Granger to score too compared to the second unit of the pacers.

But if there isn't pressure on Granger to score what's the point in signing him? I mean that's all he really brings at this point.. Which is why I'm not really sold on grabbing him..

I'd rather use the spot on a defense/hustle specialist or solid back up big. Or someone who attacks and creates shots.

Not that I don't agree that Granger would be an upgrade over what's currently there, I just don't necessarily think it's the upgrade this team needs for me to think they'll be much better than what they currently are.

He can still defend well he's a decent defender with his size at the SF position. As far as making the clippers better it's a "meh " upgrade for the bench . Nothing fancy

Why would they even get those bums in the first place tho? No one actually thought that Turkoglu, Mullens and Jamison were gonna be good right? Questionable management.

No they'll need him to score, thats the point. Dudley is benched because he's pathetic. Grainger or anyone else wouldn't have to be Otion 1 2 or 3 for the team though.

                      Kings sign Orlando Johnson:

From BleacherReport.com, your destination for the latest news on your teams and topics in sports.

That's another guy with quite a backstory:

Orlando Johnson is on the brink of the NBA, but the road hasn't been easy. It is the hardships he's faced, however, that have shaped the player a lucky team will select on draft night.

Hope he AND White have a good experience with SAC...

Mullens was semi-decent last year with Charlotte, I think around 10 & 6 a game. I thought he'd be a serviceable backup to Deandre but I was wrong.

Mullens did that while taking a lot of shots, too. He was horribly inefficient and trigger-happy to boot.

@ OJ - At this point in the season, are there any halfway-decent backup bigs or defensive specialists LAC can grab that would bring more than Granger would with his shooting/offense? I'm sick and my head ain't working but I don't know of any (although there are a few more days for players to get bought out, I believe.)

Can Metta still defend? Haven't seen him much this season.

Also, on the same front with the inept Bucks FO, I forgot about Ridnour being traded along with Neal. lol

Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious that Mullens was going to be a train wreck in LA.
