I know he ain't popular around here but....

Soon to have a roster spot, heard Kings worked out former Rockets 1st-round pick Royce White. Could sign him after Fredette clears waivers.

Honestly, at this point, they might just be one and the same.

            Per Woj...

Once Granger clears waivers in the next 48 hours, the Clippers’ ability to offer him significant playing time and championship contention under coach Doc Rivers makes them the most attractive destination, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Still, the San Antonio Spurs remain a viable possibility for Granger. The Spurs are selling Granger on a modern-day variation of the Robert Horry role in San Antonio, league sources said. Granger is expected to speak with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and general manager R.C. Buford in the near future, sources said.
And Memphis has claimed PG Beno Udrih off waivers, per Marc Stein.

**** man. Come on Danny, you'd be the best fit here.

"The Philadelphia 76ers and forward Danny Granger reached agreement on a buyout Wednesday that will allow Granger to sign with another team and be eligible for the postseason.

Granger will now choose between elite playoff teams looking to add the best possible player available. According to sources, Granger is looking at five teams: the Clippers, Rockets, Bulls, Heat and Spurs. He is expected to make his decision by Friday."

Again, per source, most around the NBA expect Danny Granger to sign with either San Antonio or Miami. OKC should also be in the mix.
I'm so damn sick of Miami being the place where every damn player goes or is linked to go.

Idk why..maybe someone can relate..but say the Clippers sign Granger. On paper they're amazing. But in the Playoffs I still wouldn't be concerned about them.

Maybe I'm still stuck in the VDN thought process..

I'm with you on this one. Can't put my finger on it either, but I just don't see them as a threat in the same vein as OKC, Indy, Miami, SA, etc.

Prime location for guys past their prime to have a shot to finally get it done.

I do think Granger would be a nice fit with Chicago but without Rose I just don't see the reason for him to choose them personally. He's basically a one year rent it's completely logical to choose a title contender.

Not that Miami is the only title contender but outside of the Clippers they're really the only team at the level that would likely use him with a decent role in their rotation.

I'm not sure how well he fits in the San Antonio role.. Technically he could be a Horry-esque player for them, but I don't know if that's the type of role he would want to be limited to.

Probably because the already have like 20 guys who can play SF.. Obviously a stretch, but if they aren't trying to land a defensive stud, or a guy who can create his looks they have no reason to sign anything other than a back up big man.. That's where their issues are..

Granger could end up being an upgrade over current wings, but the margin wouldn't be by much.. He's just another guy out of his prime honestly, I love Granger but no reason to load up your bench with so many washed up forwards.

What was the point of the deal? 76ers deal Turner(expiring contract) for Granger(expiring contract) and they buy out Granger, so all they basically get is a 2nd round pick out of it?

lol, they probably could've made this deal with the Raptors for Rudy Gay months ago. 2nd round pick would've been much higher too.

Also...Knicks are probably looking real stupid right now and Raptors real lucky. 2 months ago they could've gotten Lowry and given up Felton,MWP and one of Shumpert,1st pick or Hardaway Jr. Now....MWP was waived and Felton got arrested(could go to jail for a long time).
