Allen also is a decent body to throw at people. Not bad Indy, not bad.

I don't really get the trade from Phillys side. You lose two players that have been solid for the most part(even if more was expected from ET, he was still solid) for Danny Granger? And what are they doing with all these second round picks? I know they're tanking but this doesn't make sense for their future to me.

All about tanking. They have 2 good young pieces (Noel, Carter-Williams) for the future and they are hoping (praying?) for the #1 pick.

Philly should have gotten picks back for Turner. That is just crazy.

I read that Indy also gave a 2nd rd pick with Granger but I assume you meant a 1st rounder(s). Surely someone would've given up a late 1st round pick for him...

Nets still need to address the backup PF spot. Because once KG is out, our defense suffers significantly and Blatche/Plumlee aren't good enough to be able to offset that difference, even in limited minutes.

                  But they did.
per Zach Lowe Philly also got a future Indy 2nd-round pick in the Granger deal, source says.

Oh I was about to say.. well a 1st rounder is a high price but I'm surprised they didn't get two 2nd rounders at least

Teams probably were thinking that since Turner would be a UFA this offseason, "why give up any picks when we can sign him outright?"

True. I believe he's a restricted though, not unrestricted

But he's restricted. That means any team that has him can match an offer sheet right?

Turner kinda, sorta sucks. Should be interesting to see how he meshes with a good team.

I feel like this is a match made in heaven though. He's a perfect complimentary player and I don't think it'll be too damning on his game to not be used as much offensively.

I thought I read that if he's not tendered with a qualifying offer than he automatically becomes an unrestricted free agent. Not exactly sure how it works for him but ya'll might be right though.
