Lavoy is a good addition who can help them with specific matchups if they need it. He is solid and hard to move. He is good against finesse bigs ( guys that like to shoot jumpers) like a Garnett. I think he can defend a Boozer well and probably a Bosh too. Just as a reminder, the 76ers have 7 picks in this upcoming draft. Obviously some will either get traded or used on international guys but it's still a hell of a lot of picks.
Some of those picks + MCW and Nerlens Noel. Need some vets tho

Can you still trade your picks after the deadline?

im in the "wait and see" mindframe with the Turner trade. Im sure he'll at least give us what Granger gave us from a statistical standpoint, so it is what it is in that regard, but long term? Impact? no clue.

I think more importantly he can facilitate to others while Lance isn't in the game, he can have that similar role. If y'all end up losing Lance to bigger money this offseason you might already have his replacement in Turner..

Please don't let this be Miami's big waiver pick up

He has nice ball handling and good vision to get others involved in the game. That is an improvement over granger. He's also more athletic at this stage if Grangers career, which is big going against Miami or say wing players. Basically he brings , though to a LESSER EXTENT ,what Stephenson does.

This is easily the most frustrating thing ever.
Exactly. Teams always seem to get 1st overall pick at most convenient times. Cavs suddenly getting it after Lebron left, Hornets suddenly getting it after Paul left and so on.

And it is frustrating how the Raptors can't beat the Bobcats! 2-3 wins right there this season we should've had!

“Danny Granger was ‘pissed’ when he learned he was traded to the Sixers, per league source,” Jake Fischer of the Boston Globe tweeted.

Doubt it. They'll be looking to bring in a more defensive-minded wing. Perhaps Caron Butler or maybe even Granger. I'd prefer the latter as he could give the Heat some insight on the Pacer's playbook, even though it'll probably have little effect.

Nets/Clippers both going hard after Big Baby with Rivers and KG both trying to recruit him. If the Nets don't get him, they may bring back Jason Collins.

Wouldn't even be mad. Come on home Ben. Wouldn't be a terrible piece for the rest of the year and at a low price next year after the inevitable free agency whiff.

Hmm, it's almost as if those guys leaving made them bad enough to get the #1 overall pick or something. But yeah, rigged.
