We should have traded him earlier this year when his stock was higher.

That said it's a good pickup for Indy considering they only lost Granger. (and picked up my boy Allen)

Turner giving you about 9ppg off the bench is pretty good... But Even Turner do not all of a sudden make you favorites in the East (if your opinion was they wasn't favorites 24 hours ago) at least if you watched this dude in a complementary role before.
He'll be the playmaker in reserve duty spot-filling when Lance goes to the bench or when bad Lance shows up. Considering how much Indy relies on Lance's playmaking I'd say it's a good fit. Granger was giving them ~8pts on 35% from the field and no defense. IMO Turner should have a lot of motivation to get a good contract if he plays well in the playoffs. He's a good backup plan in case Lance bolts too.

Not only that but they get another big body in Lavoy. West-Scola-Allen is a damn good 1-2-3 punch at the PF.

I'm glad the Suns stood pat instead of trying to force something out of feigned necessity.

No, the Spurs need to get in on that. Would allow them to start Diaw and bench Jeff Ayres' sorry ***.

I'm still not sure what they're doing with all these second round picks either.

Their valuable pieces either wanted out and didn't fit into their future plans (Turner) or were UFA's that weren't coming back (Allen, Hawes).

                  Wouldn't mind signing Granger, either.
Toronto better hope they don't face Charlotte then. Charlotte basically owns Toronto.

I get that but I'm just saying I think they could have gotten more out of them. I also think they should've traded them a while ago when they started the year out pretty well. But maybe they got all they could idk. Just seems like they could do better than a bunch of 2nd rounders.

Pretty sure he was implying something about the draft being rigged to give the 1st pick to the popular Celtics. I think Maj has posted stuff like that before, but hey, I might be wrong.

I'd put money on Glen Davis going to one destination. L.A. Doc Rivers wants him and needs him as frontcourt depth.

Good trade for Indiana. Turner can give them another ball handler and he can score off the bench. He is way too ball dominant to start for them and he doesn't have an elite skill but as a bench scorer; it's a good move. Lavoy is a good addition who can help them with specific matchups if they need it. He is solid and hard to move. He is good against finesse bigs ( guys that like to shoot jumpers) like a Garnett. I think he can defend a Boozer well and probably a Bosh too. Just as a reminder, the 76ers have 7 picks in this upcoming draft. Obviously some will either get traded or used on international guys but it's still a hell of a lot of picks.
