Bulls signed Jarvis Varnado to a 10 day contract for their 13th roster spot. Pleasant surprise, I like Varnado's game and think he's a much needed upgrade over Nazr.

If he makes it off the bench I'd be shocked. Thibs is notorious for that.

I was going to say, looks good on paper, but he will rarely see the floor.

Did the same thing with Malcolm Thomas who actually played well in very limited time.

It is odd but if they don't have a shot of re-signing him and they're not ready to contend in the East then it's not really a bad thing. If they think they made a mistake doing that trade, there is no point in compounding it just because your ego may take a hit.

It is odd but if they don't have a shot of re-signing him and they're not ready to contend in the East then it's not really a bad thing. If they think they made a mistake doing that trade, there is no point in compounding it just because your ego may take a hit.

This, if we can get some value in return for him, we should take a deal. If we let him walk, we ended up losing 2 2nds, possible 3rd 2nd depending on how Kings do, and a pick swap. Im hoping its just rumors though, Id rather resign Deng if possible instead of letting him go or trading him, unless we get a good player in return.

All that matters to me.

Sucks JET isn't gonna be around though. Always been one of my favorite players to watch in his career and wish he could stick around but I also know that he's been a liability most of his time here and his contributions have been minimal at best.

Hope the Kings buy him out because I definitely like to see him end his career with ya'll, SF.

Yeah me either. It's reportedly Shump and Felton for Collision and Bullock. Regardless of Iman's off year, I just dont see the Knicks being able to find a win from this trade.

Just read a report that the Knicks are looking at bring Jeremy Lin back. If I were a Knicks fan I would much rather have Lin than Collison.

The deal might possibly involve Asik, just think, Knicks need defense. Asik, being one of the premier rim protectors in the league, would fit in perfectly at NY.

But in all seriousness if I'm a Knicks fan I am kicking myself right now. They need to look for a legitimate PG, maybe even look at Isaiah Thomas.

Yeah, I think it would be cool. I really wouldn't mind seeing us trade Wayne Ellington away or have Larkin play in the D-League and have JET finish out the year with us.

And on the topic of the Shump/Collison trade, why? I don't see how that trade is really helping either team.

If the Nets manage to pick up Thornton and Hill they'll be looking pretty nice come playoff time I think.
