Embiid getting some national media attention. There's a front page article on ESPN calling him KU's most important player. I would link it but I'm on mobile.

Sadly enough this is going to be one of the most rigged draftes in history.

How can you rig a draft? If drafts were really rigged small market garbage teams wouldn't constantly get the top picks.

With the lottery being done behind closed doors it could be rigged I guess. There's an explanation for each team getting the first pick that I read somewhere, but I'm on my phone and can't look it up. One example I do know is the pelicans getting the pick right after they were sold.

I just don't buy into all that superstition stuff about the NBA rigging drafts, rigging finals, etc etc.

Unless there is ever proof of something like this I'll never believe it. Innocent until proven guilty and I'd rather believe it isn't happening than believe random people who have no idea making up hypothetical scenarios behind a keyboard lol.

Worth mentioning, awesome upset from my Hogs against Kentucky tonight. It's been a couple years since we've had a team worth watching.

I will just say this honestly. If my Lakers finish just bad enough don't be surprised if we end up with an top 3 pick.

                      Fraud is based on superstition?

Nobody can prove it therefore it doesn't make sense spending a gang of time overanalyzing it. However making sure certain players go to certain teams would beneficial to a league that is so built around markets and superstars. For no other reason than that I would always be suspicious of the league and their intent to rig the lottery. Saying it can't be done is very naïve.

The one reason I don't believe the draft is rigged is due to the fact that the Bobcats have never been able to get the first pick. I don't think David Stern would be such a di** to MJ if it indeed is "rigged". Least he could've done for MJ was get him Anthony Davis if it was rigged! Just my opinion though.

That Kwame Brown pick was beyond ridiculous lmao but what other first overall pick has he had ? I think Kwame is the only one with Washington, I can't seem to remember who else

Was reading the Chad Ford chat from today, and there was an interesting tidbit about the #1 pick.

He thinks the following teams prefer the following guys:

                              Utah & Boston: Jabari
                              Orlando & Philly: Wiggins
                              Milwaukee, Lakers, Kings, Cavs: Embiid

He also said he's heard Danny Ainge isn't a big fan of this draft, and thinks that he might not be trying to tank, but rather drive up the value of their pick to cash in on it and acquire a great young player to build around from a team that is higher on these prospects.

Not a bad idea at all on Ainge's end. This draft is going to be so ridiculously overhyped that teams will give away too much for a top pick.
