Like I said, who they drafted didn't bother me. I actually like the picks, it's more so how ownership and management told anyone who would listen to expect fireworks. Draft left me feeling underwhelmed is all.

You guys. He was expressing relief that he was finally taken.

It's a good thing McDermott isn't being drafted to be the first or second scoring option then I guess. Talking about all his contested shots he still shot 52% from the field and 44% from three last year. I'll take that all day instead of Kirk Hinrich clanking jumpers for 30 minutes a night or Jimmy building houses for 40+ minutes. Outside of Marquise Teague, GarPax have drafted well for this team and don't miss often. I'll sit back and wait to see how this goes before I flip out like it's the end of the world.

If both these guys work out then we got two big steals.
Oh yeah we have the potential to have the best draft outside of the top 3 picks. It's just I worry about PJ and him being to comfortable being close to home.

Also we need to trade the J.O.B Squad asap. Henderson, Neal and Bismack gots to go.

And what is this I'm hearing we traded for Gee? That bum, I hope we buy him out.

Yeah... no, not buying that lol.

Having said that, I'm not going to say that I wish for nothing but a horrific career for him or anything like that. He's just a kid. But he was pretty clearly unhappy to be taken by Minnesota.

I recorded the draft so I could watch it a bit more in depth this morning before heading out to work.

You're exactly right kale, it was a "omg, I've accomplished my dream" type of moment. Guys here are taking his animations out of context.

Lavine was relieved he got drafted, he was not upset that the TWolves drafted him. He was clearly over-run with emotion. Go read his twitter for ****'s sake, anybody that thinks he was pissed for getting drafted is not very intelligent.

                        Re: 2014 Draft Discussion

After what happened with the tape delay on Embid, you'd think people would stop and think to ask how often Lavine has his head on the table.

It was for most of the night. He was waiting for his name to be heard.

Remember that him entering for the draft was considered a mistake. Many felt it was too early and he needed a lot more polish. He was one of 20 guys there and had perhaps the greatest odds to be overlooked.

He knew that. I have many time said "**** me" when expressing relief in knowing I didn't make a mistake.

If he was so upset, you would have seen it throughout the announcement. But last time I cover this. Can't change people's minds especially in the twitter age where one badly timed shot or misconstrued reaction carries weight over someone's career.

I liked the Celtics draft, and no this does not man Rondo is traded. Bradley is gone though. They seem not to have many concerns about Smart's shooting though, they think that was overplayed. I though that was interesting.

I think Green is gone also somehow someway.

Honestly the Embiid thing was good for laughs for a minute, but to try to keep this up as some kind of ploy because this guy hates Minnesota is silly. We shouldn even still be having this conversation.
