Embiid is in Cleveland and will undergo both a workout and a medical exam.

If they check out, he will probably be the #1 pick.

I feel like his back will pass and now it's a real question mark for the Bucks: Wiggins or Parker

If it comes to that for them, it should be Wiggins x 100000000000.

from everything ive read its embiid, parker, or exum for the bucks.

they want to move knight to the 2, so thats where exum comes in. But they will take whomever is left from parker/embiid apparently

Interesting draft workout day for Raptors. SF heavy filled day which includes guys like Early,Grant and Robinson.

About time they start having 1st round players at their workouts.

I honestly think Wiggins is very much in the mix. Milwaukee is trying to be secretive about who they want this year, so I don't buy the idea that they're madly in love with Jabari.

but does he fit in the system? giannis is @ the 3, and they want to move knight to the 2, so they can take exum to play point or take parker for the 4 and move henson to center

Play wiggins at the 2, move knight to 6th man or trade him. He's a 6th man at heart anyways. The only guy that's really a core player right now is Giannis, and Wiggins complements him very well.

                      Re: 2014 Draft Discussion

If you're in a position to draft Wiggins or Parker you take it. I love Giannis, but either of these guys are likely to become better players than he is. You draft Wiggins and use him at the 2 some. Parker looked very lean and explosive in his draft video, I don't think he's spending any time at the 4.

Worst case scenario Giannis plays as a 6th or 7th man. I think you take that risk, even if he is a key part of your future plans.. You gotta take the best talent available. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Giannis actually play some SG? Wiggins/Giannis, Parker/Giannis can work as a starting duo. Wiggins at SG next to Giannis at SF, or Giannis at SG next to Parker at SF.

The real question is finding a decent guard, deciding if you want to keep Knight at PG, how you can move OJ Mayo... I'm sure there is options to send Mayo and Illyasova to a team a land an extra big man or a point guard. Which the gives you options to move Knight or Sanders depending on what you get back in return.

Luckily for Milwaukee they have young talent, trade bait, and cap space. It'll be interesting to see what this team looks like in a couple years.

Giannis played a little bit of SG, but the kid is like 6'11" and still growing. He's going to be a point forward in this league. Jabari is a PF IMO and I think he's a great fit between Giannis and Larry.

Personally, I'm hoping we go with Wiggins or Exum assuming Embiid is the first pick. I just don't think Jabari will ever be a go-to scorer or an average defender.

If Milwaukee does move up to 8 using Knight and/or Sanders, who do you think they are targeting? The PF that falls?

Idk, I just don't think Jabari will play PF. He already looks like he's lost 15+ pounds

Can't Giannis play the 4? Giannis is so versatile that he'll work in any lineup with Wiggins or Parker IMO. Parker is a 3 to me, he's only a 4 if you play a small lineup...which isn't all that bad of an idea. I'm not drafting him as a 4.

However it plays out the Bucks are in a great position to become a good team.

If he bulked up he definitely could. He's too skinny to do it more than a couple minutes right now IMO.

And yeah, supposedly the guy we like around the 5-9 range doesn't mesh well with Jabari. My guess is that it's Saric. We were rumored to be in love with him last year. Gordon and Vonleh also fit the type of player Hammond usually goes after.

Edit: I think Chad Ford also said that Hammond would have considered Randle if we fell to #4 as well, so maybe it's him.
